Hi, I'm decat, I'd like to work in a library, and I’m from Australia.

I discovered FanFiction back in 2010, when Googling worst witch infomation, and reading Harry Potter and Worst Witch Fics here inspired me to write my own.

I didn't have much experience with writing when I first came to this site, but I do read a LOT. The Worst Witch at Hogwarts was the only the second or third time I’ve written a story of my own free will. (English class does not count as free will). the first time was several years earlier, something completely un-related and I lost it part way through! I do, however, make up various stories in my head. And yet I didn't like story writing in school much at all!

The things I like to read are a random assortment of Fiction and Non-Fiction. I have quite a collection of books, some of which I've come across in the library first, and then bought because I liked them so much. I have a long list of favourites, with Harry Potter up the top! (but Worst Witch has climbed the 'ranks' very fast!)

I especially like to read Fantasy; my favourites include Harry Potter, Worst Witch, Discworld, Narnia, Wicked, Eragon, and The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit.

Random stuff about me:

-I like fantasy stories, especially Harry Potter, Worst Witch, and Discworld.

-Aside from reading, I like drawing and art, playing video games, and browsing the 'net on the computer. But I don't much like reading on the computer-I much prefer good old ink and paper.

-I write my stories by hand before typing them up on the computer.

-My favourtie author (and favourite celebrity overall) is J.K. (Jo) Rowling. she is awesome!

-My Favourite animals are cats, I also really like butterflies and dolphins.

-I'm a klutz and a disaster magnet.

-English and art were my best subjects in school, maths and P.E would be my worst.

-I went to an all girls’ school.

-I'm a chatterbox!
