Origin of Pen Name: Tagalog for a specific type of jasmine. Bears a similar resemblance to the more popular spelling "sampaguita" outside of Tagalog, which is also an alternative spelling.

About me: INFP, currently a college student, hopeful future author of many books, and I guess because someone actually asked me once: Sun Aries, Moon Pisces, Rising Scorpio.

A few of my favorite things: writing, playing the piano, being (wonderfully) terrible at video games, classical music (Chopin and Tchaikovsky especially), the color blue, ice cream, rainy days, astronomy, mild Californian winters, night time, dark chocolate, scented candles

Random fact about me: No matter the weather, I will always want to eat ice-cream.

Me as a writer: I've tried my hand at writing fluff and feel-good plots. I've tried my best to write emotional scenes that would stick with a person for a while and leave an impact in any small way. I've given humor a shot, and the skill of writing happily-ever-after eludes me.

Sadly, my niche and ability is toward the dark and twisted; and if there is ever going to be a positive ending, I'm unable to write it without it leaving a bitter taste amidst the sweetness. Romance and pairings is a rather new development of mine, and I feel I often fall short considering how unromantic I am, but I've found it offers some room for happiness in the midst of the constant despair I have the proclivity to write about.

I'm just bad at writing happier plots

Story cover/illustrations for Death, Personified, Immurement, Fade Away, and Upon Reflection were shot and edited by me. The same goes for my "generic book cover."

Locked Up is officially abandoned. I'm not sure where the story was going. Hopefully I'll be able to re-do it at some point, if the inspiration strikes, because I created too many plot-holes for me to fill and unexplained events that aren't able to be explained. Unfortunately, the form that it currently stands in today makes it difficult to continue writing chapters, for I've completely lost track of the story. Sorry.
