About me: I enjoy sports (go KC Royals, Sporting KC, KC Chiefs, and Chicago Fire), NASCAR (it's not a sport - it's a way of life), history, writing, and working with kids. My favorite fandoms include Stargate: SG1, Highlander, The Sentinel, Superman, and The Avengers. I do not like most current television programs, outside of The Flash, Arrow, Lethal Weapon, The Librarians, and The Last Ship. I despise most sitcoms,"reality" shows, Twilight (Twilight is the biggest piece of crap ever created - sorry team-Edward fans, I can't stand it), and anime. I have never seen Game of Thrones. My primary language is English, though I do somewhat understand French.

I have taught Special Education classes for several years but got burnt out from it thanks to a horrible school and a few life scarring incidents. If you ever want a realistic look at education and want to hear funny/sweet/plain gross stories, drop me a note. I've got some weird ones. In the meantime I do people's taxes and get to be mom to the most awesome girl in the world.

I am married and have been for twenty-one years to someone whom I would describe as a cross between Jack and Daniel from SG1 (but better looking). Also, he has been my biggest source of military techno-type stuff. He is also possibly one of the coolest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing - just don't tell him that, his ego is already too big. I am also the not-so proud parent of three cats who do not appreciate me as much as they should, the little bastards.

I don't write slash or graphic sex scenes. Neither of those two topics appeal to me much, though I do not have anything against "alternative" lifestyles. I have discovered, much to my embarrassment, that I cannot write smutty scenes, hetero or homosexual in orientation. It comes off like something from a cheap trashy romance novel written by a twelve year old that recently discovered dad's stash of old Hustler magazines. I do better with angst, anger, hate, and a bit of weirdness. I do have a twisted sense of humor (some would call it perverse or just plain wrong) and I appreciate similar sentiments in others and their writing. I dislike poor grammar and I try to make sure that I try to follow the rules of the English language (I use to teach English and then Math and then kindergartners), though I do fail at it from time to time. If I am making a grievous error I do appreciate having it pointed out, though in a tactful manner (I have feelings too). I also get irritated when people do not get technicalities concerning weapons correct (how hard it is to get a copy of Jane's or look up the specs on the internet and for God's sake people, learn the difference between a magazine and a clip - they aren't the same thing). I have a massive potty mouth with my writing, so be forewarned. I appreciate reviews and flames will be added to my inferno of hatred.

If you feel the need to contact me for whatever reason, email me but make it clear as to who you are, what it is you need to say/yell/bitch at me about, and mention or I will delete your email without reading it. I get lots of garbage in my email and can't afford to get a virus. Hope you understand my concern and I am not intending to sound like a jerk here.
