![]() Author has written 16 stories for Final Fantasy I-VI, Suikoden, The Santa Clause, Final Fantasy VII, King Arthur, Magic: The Gathering, Final Fantasy IX, and Fire Emblem. I greatly enjoy writing but don't get around to it nearly as often as I should. As a result my update schedule is erratic as all heck. But if you can bear with that I do try to deliver the best work I can. Part of the reason my work, at least my later work, exists at all is because of my fantastic beta Antismurf Lord of Darkness. As well as being a great proofreader he's also a fantastic writer with a real gift for comedy. If anyone is looking for a beta reader, feel free to contact me. I'm always happy to help another writer! My Stories Of Sketch Pads and Shadows- (FFVI) A family long thought lost is brought back together by a sheer chance of fate...and the ruin of the world. A story about Relm and Shadow and the situations that will define their relationship and will ultimately determine their fate. This is a retelling of Final Fantasy VI with a strong focus on Shadow and Relm. I will be coming back to this periodically and editing the earlier chapters so the quality is up to par with the later ones. (Complete) Of Monsters and Mourning- (FFVI) Fate brings together a man who lost everything and a boy who had nothing. A family broken cannot be made whole. A family lost cannot be found. But as Cyan and Gau discover, family is not just those to whom you are tied by blood. This is a short series of events throughout the timeline of Final Fantasy VI where Cyan and Gau's relationship developed. This story is meant to be a companion to Sketchpads, though it can be read separately. Of Espers and Airships- (FFVI) Terra lost more than magic the day Kefka fell. Though she lives a happy life in Mobliz, she longs for a freedom once taken for granted: a longing that one of her companions knows all too well. They sky is the limit, the old saying says. But as Setzer and Terra both know . . . that's no limit at all. This story came about because I asked myself a simple question, "I wonder if Terra will miss being able to fly when magic is gone." This takes place after the canon of Sketchpads. (Complete) Of Stockings and Snowdrifts- (FFVI) A Christmas special taking place in within the canon of Sketchpads. (Complete) Spirit of the Season- (FFIX) A Christmas special starring two of my favorite characters from Final Fantasy IX's incredible cast, Freya and Amarant. (Complete) To Let Go- (FFVII) In a dream, Vincent Valentine finds himself fighting . . . himself. As the Vincent fights his younger self, the fight becomes more than it seems when Vincent's demons join him, urging him to let go. I confess, I wrote this before playing Final Fantasy VII but after watching someone else play the beginning of Dirge of Cerberus. After playing FFVII, I surprisingly still think this hold up. (Complete) Shadow Knight- (FFVI/King Arthur [film]) Denied death, Clyde is forced to fight for a cause not his own, in a world not his own. He, Relm, and Interceptor must navigate this new world, where "only a shadow can stop the looming tide." But what if the man refuses to become the shadow? And with magic that goes totally against the world's rules of logic and Fate, there may be more problems ahead than Merlin reckoned for. I like this story, I really do. I've still got the rest of it mapped out in my head. But unfortunately I don't see it getting finished soon if at all. Wizard's Duel- (Magic the Gathering) I wrote this because a friend told me it was impossible to properly explain MTG in a sense that didn't involve the players being plainswalkers. It's meh at best, but I'm still pleased to have proven him wrong. (Complete) Stories that I sort of wish I hadn't written but I have to claim credit for anyway Off Target- (Suikoden Tierkress) An early fanfiction of mine and my first go at writing a romance. I'm not proud of it, but keep it here because some readers seemed to enjoy it (?) (Complete) Interceptor's Duty-(FFVI) This was the first fanfiction I ever wrote. It's terrible and I highly advise you against reading it, but I keep it up to remind me how far I've come. It's a re-imagining of Shadow's portion of the ending cutscene of Final Fantasy VI told from Interceptor's perspective. (Complete) Challenging Authority- Okay, this is a story set in the (cringe) Santa Clause universe. I'm not quite sure what I was thinking and have little to no plans to continue this story, despite the surprisingly favorable reaction people had to it. |
