More television shows should have giant robots, phenomenal swordsmen, post-apocalyptic settings, really big guns, demons, inadvertent (or in some cases, just plain lecherously advertent) perverts, and/or muscular men beating the shit out of each other.

As far as the romance writing goes, I treat my pairings like I treat my academic work. I enjoy pairings that:

1. Possess evidence for their existence

2. Make sense in terms of disposition, personality, and power-play dynamics

3. Have something interesting to say about human relationships in general

That said, I tend to focus on relationships with high dialogue-content since that's what I like to write. And no, I do not believe in OTPs. I like exploring relationships and alternative pairings, but if they don't fulfill my 3 categories, forget it.

Current WIPs: Community Service; Picking Up the Pieces

2 pages of chapter 9 of Picking Up the Pieces complete.

Still working on Community Service. Got about a 5-page rough for chapter 16, but probably won't add to that until summer. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten--there just aren't enough hours in the day.

Delayed WIPs: Many Times, Many Ways; Nightingale

Hit a few snags. Will get back to them once current plot bunnies have been written out.

Indefinite Hiatus: Phantom of the Tournament

Major snaggage. Old work, many revisions needed. Will get back to it at some point because it's my first baby, but I make no promises.
