music: anything experimental- sleepytime gorilla musem, mr. bungle, kaada, tub ring, secret chiefs 3, john zorn and the like. but i do have a fondness for the classics- stravinsky, revel, debussy, liszt.

books: i don't read very much contemporary stuff- the divine comedy, 20,000 leagues under the sea, metamorphoses, the aenid etc.
