Wow. This story was so good. So well written. Characters were in character. Had basically all my ships minus one but I could deal with the swap out. It wasn't one I couldn't stand. But I was waiting Hitsugaya and Hinamori to get together but you killed him and the worst way possible via Hinamoris sword. That hurt so much to read. I love how you gave Hinamori a Bankai that was awesome. I loved how Gin and Hinamori worked together and started to trust each other. Gin and Rangiku is my OTP of Bleach. I loved how Hitsugaya and Rangiku could be there for each other after the betrayals. I actually read this is the space of a day I goy sucked in. I'm glad GinRan got their happy ending. Just wish HitsuHina could have too.

I have to say, having Hitsugaya really die was a really gutsy move from you. But I HATE it. Can't I have a happy ending for my favorite ship?! X_X

The most epic battle ever! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you twisted the moment where Hitsugaya stabbed Hinamori into this chapter. It's tragic that Hinamori will never be as epic in the manga as she is here, because Kubo is an idiot who doesn't know what he's got. If Hitsugaya ever learns that Hinamori is no china doll and has to fight her own battles, and is STRONG enough to fight her own battles, Bleach would be worth loving again.

I thought this was a beautiful IchiRuki chapter, and quite profound - never thought about it but it's quite fitting for Rukia to be the Queen, and for Ichigo's Hollow to recognize her as such. Loved it!

If Hisana is actually part of the Royal Guard in the manga - which would be an AWESOME twist - I'll scream my house down.

I read this entire fic over a span of two days.

AMAZING I can't even think of all the words I want to type to express my emotions! This fic made me laugh out loud and made tears come into my eyes. You are an amazing writer and you got the characters down pat. You weren't afraid to kill characters and you made their deaths perfectly heartbreaking. Soi Fon's death made me want to shriek and Hitsugaya's made me want to cry. You captured their altered mental states perfectly. The mental journey- and fall backs- that Gin and Momo wen through were perfectly written. I could feel their changing attitudes and confusion clearly and it was real, not just "snap" ok i switched sides. You managed to build up Hisana into a very very real character with pretty much no cannon basis. And honestly? I didn't want to like her in this story, but you made me like her. And the same with Senna, actually. And Byakuya was written so well, personally I find it hard to write him since he's such a closed off person. The relationship between him, Hisana, and RUkia was definitely one of my favorite parts of this story.

All the little tidbits that you strung together to weave this story into a colorful and exciting plot just blew me away. This fic is one of those very very rare gems, and I feel privileged to have been able to enjoy reading it.

Hisana's and Byakuya's spirits are hilarious-I can't help but play Uptown Girl in my head. I hope we will see more of them. Perhaps a short story?

I suppose you could call me a diehard Ichihime fan, however, the way you write Ulquihime makes me like them. For a matter of fact-your story is brilliant. Anyone would be hard pressed to not like it. You do Bleach a great honor.

Why couldn't this have happened in the chapter? I don't know, I'm not a big fan on Gin and Rangiku but if Gin did switch sides during the Winter war, I could just think of the epic fight scenes that could have happened, and just the thought of everyone's faces when they find out that Gin switch sides would have been great!

I love your story, every chapter adds more suspense and thrill in the story. You really have a talent for writing.

Heh, as much as I want to say that I'm gonna read your sequel, I'm gonna have to say No. Reading Toro Nagashi has been an emotional rollercoaster for me, I can't read the sequel until it's finished because the waiting for each chapter is too much for me to take. Hopefully I'll be able to read the sequel when you have finished it.

Again, thank you for sharing with us such a wonderful fic. I may be a little sad with Hitsugaya dying but hopefully in the sequel he is there, albeit he would either have to be resurrected or reborn or whatever it is you think of at least he's there.

Can I ask for a request? In one of the last chaps you mentioned a pairing of Ukitake and Unohana, your fic has all my fave pairings but this one. Can you place even just a little mention of them in the sequel? Thanks and good luck in writing the sequel.
