#1: Oh, I liked this story. Does she have any more?

First off, AWESOME! Thanks for your interest. I'm glad you've enjoyed something I wrote. There aren't many at the bottom, but you're welcome to the ones you find. Please shoot me a PM if there's something you really enjoyed and always remember to leave reviews. I read through all of them and try to respond. Unfortunately, the latter half doesn't happen every time. If you're a reviewer that didn't get a response, I'm extremely sorry. Please know that I have read your review and I'm very grateful for it. I will take any of you comments into account as I continue writing.

#2: Is she even on FF anymore?

I know I haven't been updating my stories much. I'm so sorry! Please don't kill me! School has been crazy and life has been hectic. I'm really trying to up my game and work on stories more. Hopefully you'll see some updates/new stories coming soon.

--For SotS readers: I know you all must hate me. Truth is, I started this story years ago and I don't have the inspiration anymore. I'm trying to think of ways to continue, but I haven't found any I like. I refuse to write stories I don't completely love, so therein lies my problem. I am working on it and will hopefully find my muse soon. Thank you guys for sticking by me. I love you all!

#3: Who the heck is this person?

Here's the part of the profile where I give you a little bit of info about me, myself, and I.

-My name is Dist.
-I'm a university student.
-I'm majoring in political science, criminal justice, and sociology (I have no idea what I'm going to do with those, but hey, they're fun).
-I'm the oldest daughter of two teachers, one of which is also a writer and pastor. I have 5 little sisters, ranging in age from 19 to 11.
-I love to spend time with my friends and hang out with family.
-My dream date is a night in, cuddling under a blanket by a warm fire with some wine and a good movie.
-My hobbies include reading anything I can get my hands on, bingeing on Netflix, and knitting.
-Ask me a question about something I love and you may regret it. When I love something, I'm passionate about it. I may get a little too invested in my fandoms, but I love it.

After reading that through again, I realize that I sound as if I'm in my forties rather than early twenties. But hey, that's me. What you see is what you get.

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,
“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you.”
