 Author has written 8 stories for Lord of the Rings, and X-Files. ATTN SMART PEOPLE: I am currently in need of a beta reader. I can more or less manage without one, but it would give me a lot of comfort to get some serious and constructive feedback before I publish my stories. I would prefer someone that is not only a Lord of the Rings fan, but someone who is particularly interested in hobbits (even better if you prefer Merry and Pippin). Bonus points if you dig canon pairings like me and aren't big on hobbitcest/slash. Cuz that don't float my boat. Anyway, I hope I haven't scared off any potential betas with all those prerequisites. Likes Tolkien stuff (hobbits, to be specific); too many other fandoms to list; creating fanfiction and fan art; getting feedback on that last bit; making movies; good food; cats (of the lol and regular varieties); and so much more! Dislikes Snakes; allergies; bigotry and close-mindedness; Mary Sues (duh); unnecessary slash that doesn't make sense (and canon rape, in general); when you're reading an otherwise good story and it has little errors that could have been avoided with a thorough proof-reading; bad writing, period.
