Whilst not fan fiction, this blog will feature my most up to date writing from me focusing on an exciting research project I have decided to embark on that explores the relationship between literature and travel/tourism. Hey there, you've reached the profile of ME: Toffrox33. But while you're here, feel free to call me Toff. :)

A few things About ME: I am 23 years old. I am English. I live in New Zealand. I study French and English Literature. I have been on FanFiction.net for almost nine years.

Favourite things of mine include Harry Potter, the French language, Romantic Era Literature, cheesy Rom-Com movies : The Notebook, Love Actually etc etc., any kind of cinema really, sitcoms (top 3: friends, community, scrubs), Coldplay, the Script, Ed Sheeran, The Beatles and travel... I loooove to travel and spent 6 months studying in France and travelling Europe.

So far I have published exclusively Harry Potter fanfiction on this site. It is unlikely that I will break that trend. Recently, I've been focusing quite heavily on original writing and university work so I've been a lot less active. If you are interested in reading some of my original stuff, check out my Tumblr or my Wordpress blog. Meanwhile, I am most certainly going to keep this account active, despite what my extended absences might suggest at times! I still love Harry Potter and I always will. My writing has improved enormously as a result of this website and I'm not abandoning it just yet.

Here's what I'll be getting up to, in what very limited free time I have outside Uni and work:

-Reading! If any Potter fans have good reading recommendations, totally PM me- and if there's a great fanfic you think I might like, let me know- I'm mainly into canon pairings but pretty open to anything!
-If feeling inspired, I might add one-shots and drabbles to my collection works: Treasure Trove and Moments in Time
-I am editing (slowly) some of my older works that desperately need it!
-Maybe one day I'll even publish one of the many multi-chaptered story ideas that are banging around in my head. I'd love to get a No One Messes With A Potter sequel up here one day :)

Please do check out the authors and stories in my favourites - the list might need a bit of an edit itself but I believe they are all worth a visit.

Thank you so much to those who read and review my writing! I LOVE reviews- especially ones that help me to improve my writing. I know a lot of the writing published here is dated and not to my present day best standard, given that I wrote it at high school, but I really appreciate those with constructive feedback and criticism. Criticise away! And if I have any 'fan's out there thank you so much for your support, I would love to chat with you :)

Published Stories

Two Years to Kiss You: Fluffy Lily/James one-shot. My oldest work on the site- I am trying to get round to editing it.

Just George: Another one-shot, but not quite so fluffy. It tells the story of George discovering the death of Fred. Bring your own tissues. I am very proud of this story.

No One Messes with a Potter: A complete 50-chapter story set Marauder Era. Undergoing (slow) editing at the moment which will include a variety of changes however will not effect the plot- storyline content will remain relatively the same in every chapter. Writing quality will hopefully be improved greatly.

Days in December: A collection of romantic Christmas one-shots. Written for a challenge at HPFC a while back.

A bittle lit Drunk: Written for the New Year challenge at HPFC. A sort-of Sequel to Just George. A comedy one-shot :)

Alice means Truth, Ana means Grace: Two separate one-shots inspired by the meanings of the names of my two best friends and dedicated to them :) They are both romances and feature Draco/OC and Charlie/OC

Treasure Trove: A completely random compilation of one-shots :)

Moments in Time: A completely random compilation of drabbles!

Removed Stories

Scarlet: My first ever Fanfiction idea which I created at the age of 12. It was an idea which I liked, but ultimately decided wasn't strong enough to make a good story.

What If: Another very old idea. This idea became too AU for me to continue writing and frankly, the plot just wasn't very original.

The Lost Star: I actually still really like this story. I put it up but couldn't finish it- eventually I took it down because it was going nowhere I decided the writing wasn't up to my standard. I am still a fan of the basic plot though so I may bring it back at some point...

No One Forgets the Marauders: The original sequel to No One Messes with a Potter. Although this story is very clear in my mind it became evident by the struggle it took me to write it that the plot was too fiddly and complex to look good written down. I am (slowly) working on a better way to structure the story and would love to one day share it. Stay tuned.. :P

Ebony and Irony: Although I really loved the concept of this story, I hadn't thought the whole plot through and I wasn't committed enough to give it a satisfying ending, so I took it down.

I really appreciate all the people who gave me positive feedback for the stories I ended up taking down. I'm sorry if I disappointed any readers but I feel that it's better to leave these stories unpublished that forever unfinished.

Potential Future Multi-Chaptered Fics...
Perhaps one day these stories will be put onto paper, but for now they exist only in my head. Let me know if the idea jumps out at you and you're desperate to read it ;) If there are lots of people interested I'll likely become more inspired!

Princess Slytherin: This is my latest multi-chaptered fic. It follows the story of Louise Smith, the first ever muggleborn to be sorted into Slytherin.

Of Starry Nights and Dragon Tamers: A story I am writing for my friend. It's a sweet romance story about Charlie Weasley and an OC.
