My name is Devan and I'm now *gasp* 31 years old. Crazy to think I was a 21 year old college student when I first started posting stories. I pretty much have been involved in the Supernatural fandom since day one, so all my fics are Supernatural stories. I am totally, madly in love with hurt!Sam so you can expect Sam to probably be injured or hurt in my stories. I also love me some protective!Dean so you can expect plenty of that too, because we all know hurt!Sam without protective!Dean is nothing.

I used to be pretty vocal in the Supernatural fandom and an active poster at the CW Lounge (RIP CW Boards) and the Limp!Sam message boards (RIP SFTCOL(AR)S) but I have been through a lot these past few years both physically and mentally and took some time off. However, I've been back for awhile now and I'm lucky to have met such great friends through our shared love of Supernatural that took me back, in addition to new friends too. This show has put me through a roller coaster of emotions and it has made me happy at times and really angry and disappointed other times. However, I look forward to the brotherly moments and I'm thrilled we actually got the hospital scene for Sam in season 9 even though it could have been better. Of course, it could have been better! I mean, come on! Intubation anyone? Here's to hoping for another hospital scene in the future. How were we denied one in Red Meat? Anyone? Anyone? There has to be another before this show ends.

I had the pleasure of attending my first Supernatural convention in 2011 and met Jared Padalecki, as well as some other Supernatural stars. He is more gorgeous in person than on TV (if that's possible!) and a complete sweetheart. Jensen Ackles did not attend that convention so it's still a dream to meet him as well. I love both brothers but I relate to Sam Winchester and applaud his struggle against the darkness. He always tries to do what is right, has a forgiving heart, and maintains hope. He conveys a positive and inspirational message to all. I really dislike when his character is bashed and people don't take the time to know and love Sam. I also adore Jared Padalecki and I'm so grateful that he started the Always Keep Fighting campaign to help those, like me, who suffer with mental illness.

I graduated college a few years ago (well 8 years now!) and I'm a high school teacher. I'm also a wannabe champion figure skater and participated in my first ice skating show in 2012. I have since been a part of my skating club's Christmas and New Year's show in both 2012 and 2013. I was also involved in our club's 2015 show and got to meet Gracie Gold. She even signed my skate! Since then I also participated in my club's 2016 show, met both Mirai Nigasu and Jason Brown, and attended World's. I've met other Olympians too so it's been such an honor to be involved in this amazing sport. I'm looking forward to testing, competing, and more ice shows. My other favorite shows are Ghost Hunters, Dancing With The Stars, and a variety of reality shows. I do like a few comedies such as The Middle and The Goldberg's, but no show has captured my heart like Supernatural. I also of course love to watch figure skating on TV! In addition to writing, I like vidding as well. You can find me on Youtube under the same name. I made my last vid after 9x01 but I hope to make another someday. In the meantime, I make Supernatural Vines or mini vids on Instagram. I like music, especially rock, and Skillet and Red are my favorite bands, although I like more bands too.
