A real gem of a story you've got here. I loved every second of it. You write the boys so well I can see and hear them doing and saying all the things you write. This would have made an awesome episode. Well, probably a couple episodes, 'cause we wouldn't want to leave anything out and all of this awesomeness wouldn't fit into just one. ;) Anyway, great work!

I'm seriously loving this story. And you are quite the master of cliffhangers. I feel exceedingly lucky that I don't have to wait and can just click on over to the next chapter.

I usually leave my review after I've finished the entire story, but this first chapter was too awesome to not say so. Seriously, you write great dialogue - all the banter between Sam and Dean near the beginning was just so spot-on I could totally hear them saying every word. And then when the storm hit, the excitement level just skyrocketed. You really know how to write in a keeping-the-reader-on-the-edge-of-their-seat kind of way, if that makes sense. Kudos!

Great start to this story. Not too many out there with them at sea, and I always love them, just for the different setting if nothing else. But you also nailed one of my fave scenarios with something bad happening when they've just been arguing or mad at each other. Can only imagine how Dean would feel if his last words to Sam had been angry and hurtful. Gets me every time.

This story just gets more awesome with each chapter! I will say that the one thing the Trickster did was give the audience a glimpse into Sam's life without Dean (before Ruby). Sam turned soulless, even if it was a mock-reality produced by an angel.
Your character portrayal here is so dead-on it's spooky! Most writers neglect Dean's constant mask and his tendency to use movie/actor references. You've also included the tease-play between them, which, too, is also neglected.

I was afraid no good would come of Dean renting a boat to go to the island instead of riding the professionally run ferry.

This was a very interesting story. Poor Dean, he thought renting a boat would be fun but the intercostal waterways can be almost as dangerous to a boating novice as being on the open ocen itself.

What an incredible fic! Action-packed, emotional, awesome hurt/limp!Sam, fantastic big brother!Dean, and overall very well-written. I was riveted from beginning to end, and loved every minute of it. Nice work! :)

Aw, this story is a REALLY good idea! And I loved the names of the chapters..very..poetic..holds a lot more meaning then just a storm passing. ;D

Great Story! I love me some Limp!Sam :-) I really like the fact that you had Sam tell Dean about the Demon blood and that Dean just accepted it. They would do anything for each other and I love that!
