Greetings!!

Yes, this is an update. Not your imagination.

Thank you to everyone who watches me for your continued patience. I am honored to be on your favorite list.

I am currently working on finishing up chapters for stories in progress a chunk at a time. What does this mean? It means that I am writing chapters and not posting at present.

Why am I doing this? I wish to finish up the stories but to give them the proper closure, it's best to just keep writing rather than pause and post. I have found that distracting and right now, I need to listen to my muse and wrap everything up.

As I mentioned in my last update, I am finally making the transition to being a more serious writer, so the plan is to finish up my multi chapter stories in progress while I work on my first novel manuscript.

Since this is my gift to all my fans and supporters before I take my bow and I walk away from Fan Fiction, I plan to make sure you get 100% of my love and joy that I have had experienced while writing about these amazing characters and the wonderful anime they are from.

Part of me is sad to say goodbye to writing fan fiction but to be honest, it's time for me to take that step and become a published author. I have been putting it off long enough.

Thanks to those brave souls who have stumbled upon my fan fiction and have added me to their faves and/or sent me reviews in recent months.

It's nice to know that there are folks out there that enjoy the stories and wish to see them continue.

I know real life has a way of intruding but I have been humbled by the amount of support I have received from the readership over the past couple of years or so.

Yes, I am planning to update and finish my stories posted on this site as well as those posted on AFF and y-gallery.

Before I get any reviews or private messages regarding an guesstimate on when I plan to start posting new chapters, I honestly don't know.

There are new chapters in progress and have been for a while but if you feel you would rather give up on the story because I am not updating fast enough, then I apologize but I understand. Real life still needs to take priority for me over my fan fiction unfortunately.

That being said, while I am back to writing on a regular basis now, I am only able to devote an hour or two each evening to this since the majority of my time is taken up with the day to day duties of taking care of my son.

In essence, progress on new chapters is currently going at a slow but steady pace.

Thank you everyone for your continued patience. It's helped me get through some truly rough patches in my life.

It has been brought to my attention that readers are worried that I'm going to be upset if the artwork submitted is less than the highest quality.

Nope - not the case at all. I don't care what your skill level is - I will still proudly brag about your fan art and put up the links on my profile.

Why? Because you were inspired enough by my literary ramblings to draw something for the story the fan art was submitted for.

It's the thought and effort that went into the fan art that is more important to this author. :)

Lucky Prize - 3 part Hana/Shino AU side story to Chance Enounters: The reader complaining that I had not gotten to the tasty Yakuza violence in Chance Encounters should be happy with this little effort. Please heed the warnings posted in the author's notes. This story is pretty dark and does in fact have bearing on future events in the Chance Encounters story.

Summary: The head does not always dictate who the heart chooses to fall in love with. Temari gets dumped by Shikamaru and feels she needs to prove a point. What was supposed to be a one night stand has the potential to develop into something deeper.

Summary: Who is the player and who is getting played? Not everything is as it always seems. Kankuro, a regular on the clubbing scene with a notorious reputation and a secret, meets his match in the unlikely guise of a petite and bookish pink haired doctor.

What do I enjoy about fanfiction: From a reading perspective, I enjoy a plot that has more twists and turns than a roller-coaster, realistic character portrayals and consistent storyline. From a writing perspective, I try to incorporate the elements that I find interesting when I read. My goal is to write a fanfiction that I know that I would like to keep reading.

Do I ever take myself seriously: No – not really. There’s more than enough brevity in the world. The fact that I can still laugh at my stupidity from time to time is a good thing.
