--As of December 2009, I am a proud college graduate, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a minor in Spanish.

--I teach elementary Spanish and coach volleyball and basketball. As of May 2012 I hold a valid elementary teacher's certificate in the state of Texas.

--There are three solaces I find in my life: God, music and writing.

--I like to experiment with different forms of prose: poetic prose, suspenseful prose, humorous prose, or some combination thereof. I guess one of these days I'll figure out what I'm doing, but until then, I'll just keep practicing.

--I'm a self-confessed nerd. Seriously, a person who spends his or her free time writing is a nerd in most circles, which is why this site is so awesome: it's a haven for nerds. Occasionally I take nerdness to a whole 'nother level. For example, I absolutely love Greek and Roman mythology. And I sometimes read history books just for fun. And I'm considering going to school just to expand my learning. Yeah, I'm one of those people.
