Hello, everyone. If you've read my profile, you know the name 'idoalmyownmakeup' isn't my creation. That has always bothered me, but I was never sure if I should change it because I used to hardly ever write. But now, I do. So, the time has come for me to let go of my pre-teen years and start anew with a name of my own and plenty of new stories to go with it. I apologize for any frustration or confusion this might cause, but, hopefully, as both writers and readers you understand the importance of this decision. The new name will be turnipcat, and it will be used for every site that have. (AO3, twitter, tumblr, deviantart). Thank you! And happy reading!

Okay, okay, so it's been a LOT longer than "less than a week," for Sound of Madness. But it's so, so close to being done. I'm literally paragraphs away from the chapter finish line! Paragraphs, I say!

Sound of Madness update coming soon! (Very soon. As in, "less than a week" soon.) I have nothing to blame the wait on other than my own laziness, but hopefully, for all you Merlin fans out there, the fics written during my obnoxious absence will sooth some of the anger.

Good news! Do any of you guys remember that one story that went on hiatus back in '07? Well, it's back in progress! Unfortunately, I'm not adding new chapters. I'm rewriting the entire thing. Why, you ask? My style was undeveloped, there was no honest characterization, and I don't know what the hell I did to poor Gaara, but his personality was just not okay. It was like reading a story written by a fangirl chipmunk with ADD on crack. So, in a few weeks the new version will be uploaded (but I'm not deleting the original) under the name Fatal Change: Reboot. If I still have any readers, I hope you all don't hate it. And thank you for sticking with me for this long.
