Really wish that you'd update.

I mean every word I just said (well typed), and thank you very much for putting your time and effort in creating it. I love your way of writing it and, over all the entire thing! I read this pretty much all in one go and I am blown away by how much you've accomplished in this story. There's a tight narrative, a genuine found family dynamic, ongoing development within Daryl himself, and a really unbelievably satisfying slow build of a relationship between Daryl and Glenn. You have such a knack for capturing Daryl's internal struggles: his insecurities and his hopes, his ingrained mistrust and his growing sense of place and purpose, without ever venturing into the overwrought. I LOVE what you've done with his character and this story! Please keep up the excellent work :)

Awesome story! I really want to know what happens. I'm on the edge of my seat and my grunt of "shit there isn't another chapter" startled my sister in law. Please for the love of chocolate chip cookies and the darkside, update soooooooonnnnnnnnn! I love how they appear one by one. Kind of like "oh you got me but one little thing, meet my friends with their big fucking guns! Ill take my brother & crossbow back now and you will die."

Have I said how much I love your writing? I savour every sentence. You write with such care and as a result your characters has depth, complexity - especially Daryl, you really get into his head. I thought the interaction between Merle and Daryl was plenty dysfunctional, edgy and tension filled.
Pleeeease don't make us wait too for the next chapter hmkay?

My room mate hates you. Want to know why my room mate hates you? because that cliff hanger caused me to yell for 5 minutes about how unfair it is! YOUR A JERK! I love you though... its a great story. Are the dogs healthy now? And is there going to be smut? you should really but smut on it. Fanfiction is to smut as ice cream is to sprinkles. Its good by itself but that little extra something on top makes it perfect.

Awesome story. I love the slow evolution of Daryl's thoughts and actions as the story progresses. He and glenn are an interesting combination even with how little interaction they actually have. I hope you continue the story.

Ahhh ultimate cliffhanger! Just spent the last two hours reading everything and I love your characterisation of Daryl. It's superbly accurate - he's so torn and confused and stubborn and omgjustperfect. Everyone is written very, very well too! Glenn and his quiet heroics, Rick and his charismatic presence, Shane and his instability...this story is amazing and I'd love to read the next chapter when it's ready!

Fantastic read so far! You've got a very fluid, well-structured writing style. I think this is one of the best Walking Dead fics I've found so far; your Daryl is the perfect blend of hard-ass and big-ole'-softie, and I honestly prefer the direction your story has veered compared to the way things progressed on the actual show! Excellent work, and I can't wait to read more!
