Modern AU. Edith is a PhD student running away from London to pursue a line of research. She finds herself in the small Yorkshire village of Locksley, where local landowner Anthony Strallan is struggling with his business and his life. T rated, will move into M with an appropriate warning at the top of the chapter.

He woke much like an afterthought. Without startlement or any significant form of duress. It was simply a fluid state of being, transferring itself from one extreme to the other. In this case, it was the dead of sleep to full alertness in less time than he'd previously considered possible.

Set in in 1814 after Napoleon's defeat and exile to Elba, Major General Sir Harry Pearce is a worn-out Army officer returning from years on campaign with his home life in tatters. The thought of the London Season fills him with dread until he is introduced to his god-daughter's chaperone, Miss Ruth Evershed.

It is 30 BC/BCE. Anthony is a Roman senator. Edith is the daughter of a British chieftain. She has been taken in lieu of taxes by the Romans, taken to Rome, and sold as a slave.

Alternate Universe. January 1944, and World War II is moving towards its climax. Young Intelligence cadet Ruth Evershed is selected for a special mission in France - to become the liaison with a German asset. But is the SS officer she is sent to meet all that he appears to be? Warning: Contains descriptions of the Nazi atrocities that took place in the concentration camps.

In the aftermath of Ros's death, Harry and Ruth take comfort in each other, but when their relationship falls apart, they believe they've reached the end of the road. Even love has consequences, and neither of them are prepared for what happens next. Starts at the beginning of season 9. Mostly from Ruth's perspective, with quite a bit of Beth thrown in as well. Now complete.

Anthony considers himself a vanilla sort of man. It seems others have different ideas about him. Starts as a "T" but might wander into "M" territory. The humor rating is probably over rated but there will be some lighter aspects to the story. No maybe about it, Chapter 27 certainly wanders into M territory so be warned ;-)

Phyllis Baxter learns the history of one scarf and knits another. A quiet little peek into how friends stay knitted together even when paths begin to converge. Be advised...I know next to nothing about knitting.

This AU begins just after Marigold go's missing at the Fat Stock Show. Mrs Drewe didn't got to it, but a kindly gentleman and his niece find the little one in the most unlikely place. This story contains two OC's, they are Brienne and Jaime from Game of Thrones, I always thought that their characters would be good in Downton. The entail is thrown into disarray once more after the tragedies of Matthew's accident and his baby's death from diphtheria soon after. Murray's researches discover there is only one living heir - and it is someone the Crawley family cannot accept, except perhaps for Edith: Sir Anthony Strallan. This is a storyline I have been toying with for some time. Tell me what you think!

Barriers fall as Odo and Kira consummate their love for the first time.

Edith Crawley has lived in the shadow of her sister Mary all her life. As she struggles to find her own way she has managed to sully her reputation and that of her family. With the threat of her escapades being published in one of the new scandal sheets, her father has given her an ultimatum, marry and soon. Only one person comes forward to help her, Sir Anthony Strallan.

Can the present be something neither the past or future could? And should it? This is my Anthony. Although I love him dearly, he is prone to getting things backwards. Thinking what should be said when he should say it instead. Or, saying the wrong thing completely. But that's alright. Edith is her own woman now – or trying hard to be – and she doesn't mind driving.

I've so wanted Edith to take a stand, especially this season! So this is my take on what Edith and Anthony would and should do, starting after Episode 3.3. (Spoiler Alert!) First FanFic, so bear with me, please. Starts out T, may get a little M later. (And obviously I own nothing...)

In this story, which is written like a script, Edith and Matthew get more than they bargained for at the cricket match. Written after 3.07 and before 3.08. There are spoilers for 3.03 onwards. Although there is a bit of peril in this tale, no one gets hurt. Anthony's actions may feel a bit dramatic for him, but who knows to what extremes misery can drive a man.

Set after Robert has warned Anthony to stay away from Edith, but my pure fantasy thereafter. I don't own the characters, they merely live in my head. There are historical events mentioned in this story that are true, but I don't think Sir Anthony Strallan was actually part of them, except here in this story. Rated T for safety.
