![]() Author has written 1 story for Rise of the Guardians. I'm 18, a girl, and a fangirling/quoting freak more or less with a silly username... Any stories I do put up are probably going to be short and very few in number, and updates on them will most likely be even less. (I got an account mostly so I could read and save other stories) If you decided to read mine then thank you very much! My profile pic is a picture by the devianartist DestinyBlue. Credit for it belongs wholly to her, not me. 'Guess that's about it ;D ~Actually, one more thing of note. I'm one of those people that don't really take my stand on what I believe on social media aside from saying I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and saying if you wanna know more go for it, at . But the other day I found and read something someone else here on Fanfiction had posted for the world to see, and it kind of inspired me. But instead of posting the testimony of someone else, I'd like to share my own testimony with you. I believe in the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This includes that there is a living prophet today who receives revelation for the Church, that right now being President Russell M. Nelson, that we can receive our own personal revelation, and the standards works -- The Book of Mormon, the Bible, Old and New testaments alike, along with the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price. There are many more things of the gospel that I could and want to share, but there would be too much for me to say here and not the words to do them justice. So I'll just say this, as cliche as it may seem: I have felt the Lord's and God's love for me, and I've also seen glimpses of how they see and love other, everyday people like me and you. The user I mentioned above would be one of them. I know they live today, that God is my Father, Jesus Christ being my Lord, Savior, and older brother, and that the way I can feel them is from another brother of ours known as the Holy Ghost who (most of the time) speaks in a still small voice. I know they and other people in heaven watch out for you and me and push us to go on. I don't have a Christ complex, thinking I'm the one that changes the fate of the world, but I do take upon myself his name and try to live up to and share his example so I can be proud when I see him again, and say I have done some good. I know I care for each one of you, and I'm glad you're here, just as He is. And I bear my testimony in the name of Jesus Christ, amen. |
