Greetings, readers! Welcome to my bio!

My name is Sledge Macaw, just call me Sledge. (Or Ralph for those of you that know me) I'm American, male, and 18 years old. I'm a big Rio and Transformers fan and I will try to write stories on a regular basis. I am Catholic and I believe in Jesus Christ.

My Personality: A patriotic lad from New York, I am funny and chill when at ease. But when the situation calls for it, I will be as firm as an anchor on a hard piece of coral. It takes a lot to anger me. And I will never ask someone to do something I won't do myself. If I ask you to run a marathon with me, its because I believe in your abilities. I also love freedom, going on runs, bike rides, riding horses, and playing hockey. Gotta go skydiving soon. I value loyalty and honor above all else, regardless of the situation. People say I'm a mix between Dwight Schrute and Jaime Lannister.

Summary

Blu had just saved the love of his life from certain death. Seemingly unscathed, he must now adjust to his new home, Rio de Janeiro. Trials await the young Spix Macaw and his path of endearment. Conflicted by his dreams and reality, he must ascertain the authenticity of his new life in the magical city.

Notes

This is the first thing I've written in years and its a redo/remaster of the awful garbage I uploaded back in 2015. (If you remember/read it, I sincerely apologize.) I focused too much on the OCs I lost sight of Blu and Jewel. Re-reading it from my old laptop, I cringed so much. In this story, the OCs take on supporting roles, occasionally main roles, for the plot. The story itself, I'm attempting to analyze the psychology of both Blu and Jewel, and using that knowledge to tell a tale.

Ralph - Military Macaw sergeant tasked with keeping the peace in Rio de Janeiro. Lives in a mango tree near Tulio's cottage and apparently likes bread.

Eugene - Military Macaw medic tasked with providing medical aid to birds in need. His owner works for the aviary and has thus inspired him to help others.

Malarkey - Military Macaw intelligence corporal. Can be quite blunt and straightforward.

Crawford - Blue-and-gold Macaw Blu had rescued during the smuggling incident. Named after one of my favorite hockey players, Corey Crawford.

Ann - Crawford's mate and a bird nurse/healer of sorts.
