A collection of prompts received on tumblr, all consisting of only three words. (excludes the Dash related fics, which I will post separately). If a prompt had a follow-up scene, those will be posted all together in one chapter. A scene with season 8 spoilers will be noted at the beginning of the chapter.

The aftermath of 47 Seconds goes differently, as Castle understands the big step Beckett has taken.

'Castle's chest tightens. This is her team, their team. She's family to them, so important that they're losing sleep and working themselves into the ground. He wonders how much of it is a pure desire to get justice for Beckett, and how much is a distraction.' AU after s2 finale.

Missing scene oneshot, set post-episode 1.9 (Enemy Khlyen). As Dutch recovers in a sedated sleep, Johnny and D'avin sit by her bedside in a not-so-silent vigil.

How far can you travel to find what is gone? AU after Boom (2x18).

'Kate jerks up from her seat, ready to do damage, to make Vulcan Simmons pay, but before she can even dig her hands into his shirt and fling him against the wall, Castle already has him by the neck.' A twist on 3x13, Knockdown.

For Victoria Gates, it's the things that scare her that are the most worth doing.

After Perlmutter is injured in a hit and run, Beckett accompanies him home and finds the wounded soul beneath the curmudgeonly façade. A one-shot.

A new series about a certain British secret agent? Even if it meant no more Nikki Heat, the offer was a dream come true. A change of scenery and a fresh challenge were exactly what he needed. So why did Castle feel like instead of starting a new story, he was closing a book mid-chapter? AU from 'When the Bough Breaks'.

Post-ep for 2x24 Beckett deals with the aftermath of Gina showing up at the precinct and then leaving for the summer with Castle. She makes great efforts to move on with her life, and then disaster strikes. "Make. Me. Care." She uttered the words one last time in a tissue thin voice, as cruel, embarrassing tears coursed down her cheeks. "Too late, Kate. You already do."

Post Sucker Punch. Castle takes the guilt on himself, she's noticed that about him.

"Don't do that," she says.. "Don't act like this is some sort of gift." One shot, set after Always. Complete.

An AU meeting inspired by 1x03 Hedge Fund Homeboys

One-shot fill-in for 7x23. My take on how Li'l Castle became a writer. "I tried to discover, in the rumor of forests...words that other men could not hear." - Gustave Flaubert. COMPLETE.

Castle complained in the season 3 finale that he and Beckett had kissed but never talked about it. What if they HAD talked about it? Set approximately ten hours after the last Caskett scene of 'Knockdown' (3x13). Potential spoilers through season 3, potential vague spoilers for all aired episodes.

Castle tells his epic tale of manly valor as he escorts Beckett out of her burning apartment building during "Boom." Episode insert/Tumblr prompt fill from Kristungen.

So while "our" Castle was in the Alternate Universe, where was the "other" Castle? A 4-chapter story set in the "Time of Our Lives" AU, taking place after the events of that episode. COMPLETE!

AU: Three years after Richard Castle's fiery car crash, he hasn't been found. He is presumed dead, leaving Kate Beckett at a personal cross roads.

Kate runs into Josh when she and Castle are engaged and Josh reflects on Kate and Castle's relationship. Some fluff to get through this mini-hiatus. One-shot set in early S6.

[Castle Pornado 2015. Early S5. Fluff-smut with no plot.] How Beckett got her mojo back, and Castle got the holy grail of lifetime contracts at (though not necessarily with) Black Pawn.

What would happen if Castle and Beckett switched bodies? Set late Season 2 (Assuming Demming doesn't exist)

For all the thought Castle had put into the apocalypse, he had never expected this… An AU set - at times - in the summer between seasons three and four.

[S7. Tumblr ficlet that accidentally found half a plot. Pure fluff.] Castle solves a long-forgotten domestic mystery and contemplates wormhole physics.

What didn't we see? ... A series of filler and extended scenes, or retold scenes from inside a character's head. One chapter per ep for S2. Sticking to the canon ... absolutely no AU ... Expect humour, angst, romance, teasing, sexual frustration, hurt, comfort, drama, inner-torment, imagined sexual contact and fantasizing, and probably a bunch of unspoken swearing from Beckett.

"And when she'd handed it to him, unwrapped and entirely un-Christmas-y, she'd said, 'I'm giving you an experience.'" The Christmas season helps to lessen the blow. Post-ep for 7x10.

Post-Headhunters AU: Kate Beckett decides to confront Richard Castle's strange behavior once and for all, in her own unique way. One-shot.

Castle and Beckett attend her ex Sorenson's wedding, and reflect on their own ceremony and relationship. A post-ep for 'The Time Of Our Lives' (7x06) but set some months afterwards.

A post-ep to "Undead Again" bridging the gap between what happened between Castle and Beckett in that ep and the beginning of "Always." Because I always felt that the post-"47 Seconds" story arc got resolved too quickly in "Undead Again."

Post-ep for 7.05, containing substantial spoilers for that episode (and potentially all aired episodes). One shot for now, so marked complete.

Some days, truth just rains down on you like a piano. Season 1, oneshot.

Post-7x03, "Clear and Present Danger." Every morning since the hospital, Castle's needed to change the subject. This morning they discuss invisibility suits and superheroes.

She woke early to the sun kissing her eyelids at an unfamiliar angle, and her body still humming with restless energy, alive and vibrant with need. Episode insert for 5x01, 'After the Storm.'

[1x07 AU. Written for Summer Kink Meme '14] Beckett intends to teach Castle a lesson after he bests her at the firing range. Things don't go quite according to plan.

Castle and Beckett never met five years ago. Beckett's Mom's case remains unsolved, and Castle has no muse. What happens when their paths cross? An AU Target/Hunt meeting.

Post Ep 6X20 in which Rick addresses Martha's "helping". As always, all of the glory and recognition goes to ABC, Marlowe and all of the creative wonderful souls associated with Castle.

Sometimes, you can't sleep. And when you can't sleep, you often end up thinking. This follows the thoughts of Beckett and/or Castle as they deal with the nights of insomnia. Marked as complete because I don't know how long this will go - it's a bunch of connected one-shots. Follow if you like it!

Because if a zombie was someone who was dead but moving through the world like a live person, Kate was pretty sure she fit the definition. Post Undead.
