| katicings chapter 1 . 6/14/2015 okay, i'm way behind on life, fanfic, and tumblr, but let me list things i love; 1) M-rated sexy/fluffy/but not schmaltzy post-Always fic. 2) anything written by airbefore 3) airbefore 4) jenny is a wonderful and masterful writer and I have veered off of the intended origin of this review, let us blame the high dose of painkillers, but the words are true. "My life doesn't make much sense without you anymore." is my FAVORITE line - because I have always been dying to see someone explore Kbex's thoughts/reasoning for giving Gates her badge and gun and this was just so simple & sweet, not overwrought (because, let's face it, many often write Kate as such when I don't believe she typically is). I've told you this before, but I really do think you understand Kate better than many (most) of the show's writers, (ahem, especially the ones with dicks, ahem) - and although this was written more from Castle's POV, (which I believe we have also talked about not really being able to connect/love his character too mch) - but to show so much of Kate through Castle was brilliant.
