Part 4/7 (Road of Loyalty)
Over a decade has gone by since the war, but Buffy and Remus might be on the edge of another - against the same enemy. Harry is in danger - not only from Voldemort but also from Sirius Black. But unknown to everyone else, Sirius is not really after Harry - but in his hunt for Peter Pettigrew, will his Godson end up in the crossfire? Connections are forged, questions are answered and friendship and family can be found were you least expect it.

Book 2 - When Lightning Follows Thunder: The war descends over Wizarding Britain and its fate seems to rest on Harry’s shoulders. What is the power the Dark Lord knows not and what will happen on judgement day? What hold does the dead have over the living when Death takes no prisoners? Can the light conquer or will death take them all?

Into the Blue is the fifth and final part of Out of the Blue, split into two "books": Book 1, which is Way of the Warriors, and book 2, Lightning Follows Thunder. (In reality, thunder follows lightning, when it comes to what the human eye/ear percieves: in reality, both occur at the same time. The title is meant to be ironic as well as symbolic).

EXTRA INFO: Note that Out of the Blue part 3, Never the Same, is not an obligatory part of the series, so if you want to you can jump directly from part 2 to part 4. And if you're new to the series, I recommend Roads Travelled instead, which is a "reboot." Almost nothing of the old plot remains, and the overall tone is more serious. There are certain similarities to OOTB in the form of minor scenes and some character names, but most of the events and even characterisation have been changed.

CHALLENGE

Gone: Buffy/Supernatural, post BTVS s. 7 and ATS s. 5, during SPN s. 1 and beyond (though it can be AU).

Buffy and Dean met in LA when Buffy ran away after season three and stuck up a friendship? They kept in touch over the years, over the phone, being each other's pillar of support and comfort when needed. The last call Dean got from Buffy was after the Scoobies and new Slayers defeated the First...that was a year ago.

This is were the story should begin: Dean, on the road with Sam (post pilot), is trying to find Buffy, with no result - in fact, all her friends (Sunnydale and AI alike) seems to have gone mysteriously missing... What has happened? Where are everyone, and more importantly, where is Buffy? Has anyone harmed her? You decide, and it's up to Dean (and Sam) to figure it out!

MUST HAVES (when, how, and in which capacity is up to you)
Suspiscious Sam, Denial!Dean, Buffy/Dean reunion, Papa Winchester (that's John), and the yellow-eyed demon.
Dean and Buffy should be central characters. Either Buffy/Dean friendship or Buffy/Dean romance. Losely based on my own one-shot "Phonecalls" (read it for inspiration/use it as base if you'd like, but not necessary).
