My new profile! (Pose)

My name is Lyla, although some call me Camri. The reason behind that is far too complicated for me to explain. I am eighteen and I will graduate High School with the class of 2005. Then I will move on to MTI College to get my law degree and become a Paralegal. Not very interesting, but that's all the numbers and dates about me. My personality tends to shift a bit, and no I'm not bipolar, so it would be rather difficult to explain that. Most of the time I'm a very shy but cheerful person.

My favorite type of books are fantasy, science fiction, and romance. My favorite book is Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind. No matter how many times I read that book, I never get tired of it. My favorite type of movies are horrors, action, fantasy, and science fiction. I hate comedies. Movies with funny parts are cool, but I like my movies with depth. Well, depth or a lot of blood and gore. My favorite movie is Dreamcatcher, based off the Stephen King novel.

I like to write my own stories, original fiction, but I love to write fanfiction. It's a lot easier, considering the fact the characters are already made for you and all you have to do is add plot, or the lack of one. PWPs are okay, but I really do like depth. That is why my favorite fanfiction was, and remains to this day, Transfigurations by Resonant. Refer to my link section at the bottom of my rantings for a link.

Currently, my favorite pairings for Harry Potter include(May have forgotten one or two, but none too important): Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy, Harry/Severus Snape, Harry/Lord Voldemort, Harry/Tom Riddle, Harry/Bill Weasley, Harry/Charlie Weasley, Harry/Lucius Malfoy, Harry/Cedric Diggory, Harry/Remus Lupin, Harry/Sirius Black, Remus/Sirius, Remus/Severus, Sirius/Severus, Draco/Severus(Although not much), Draco/Lucius(Guily pleasure), Severus/Lucius, Severus/Tom, Severus/Lord Voldemort, Hermione Granger/Ronald Weasley, Hermione/Cho Chang, Hermione/Fluer Delacour, Hermione/Marcus Flint(Long story), Hermione/Ginny Weasley, Ron/Neville Longbottom, and (finally)Ron/Justin Finch-Flitchley.

The only pairing I like in Stargate SG-1 is Daniel Jackson/Jack O'Neill. No others. Again, I only like one pairing in Teen Titans. That is Robin/Slade. Once more, In Angel I only like Angel/Spike. I don't really read Teen Titan fics, but I read a few Stargate SG-1 and a few Angel.

LINK- This is where you can find the lovely story Transfigurations by Resonant. This is my favorite fanfiction. In this story, Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts long after the war with Voldemort as a part of the staff. Returning with him as new staff membersare his old friends Hermione Granger, Remus Lupin,and Charlie Weasley. Much to Harry's dismay, Draco Malfoy also returns to be his co-worker. Many others return as well, although not as staff. Soon it is descovered that the grand re-opening of Hogwarts might just be in vain. All over the school there are magical mines that threaten to destroy everything the new staff of Hogwarts set their hearts on restoring. This is a Draco/Harry slash story, but even if that isn't you favorite pairing, the story is so fantastic, you should read it anyway. Just trust me on this. This story is rated NC-17. -C

Fumigation by McKay; "Almost everyone at Hogwarts finds him or herself acting strangely thanks to the effects of a psychotropic gas, including Snape. When Sirius shows up at his door to issue a warning about the gas, Snape would rather shag than talk, but Sirius is a little shy..." NC-17, I'll find the link later. If you can't tell the pairing, I'll eat your head.

In Academia by Sushi; "Prefect. Quidditch captian. Student lord of Slytherin. Severus Snape's seventh year promises to be glorious beyond the dreams of avarice. Some people, however, have other ideas." It reminds me of GoF only better, as Hogwarts House Tournaments go. Nated NC-17. I'll get a link when I find it.The pairings are(Dear God, here we go...). ; Severus/Lucius, Severus/Sirius, Severus/PeterPettigrew, Severus/TomRiddle, Severus/Voldemort, Severus/ Remus...Hints of Severus/James...Implied Severus/LilyEvans and Severus/Other male character. Beware the many pairings! n.n But it's a great story.

Vinculum byNinjaBubble is a good Harry Potter fiction that is here on the site. It's in my favorites list if you're interested. The summary is as follows; "Word sparring turns into a holiday fight and Harry and Malfoy find out that detention doesn't have to be only a few hours long." This one is rated "R" or "M". Draco/Harry.

Not Enough Black Ink by Claggart is also a very good story. The summary; " 'If I do it, then I don’t want money. I want you to pose for a drawing in whatever setting I choose.' Snape’s cheeks redden. At least he catches my meaning…" This is rated "R" or "M" and pairs Severus and Harry.

Honeydukes (I haven't read much of the sequel, been too busy) by Without Permission is funny. It has many pairings, but the main one is Draco/Harry. The summary; "Their fights have gotten too far and now Harry and Draco face one sweet punishment together. But what happens when Draco turns insane and starts advancing on Harry?" This is rated "R" or "M". -C

Beautiful Broken Silence by Without Permisson is one of my favorites as well. Another Draco/Harry pairing rated "R" or "M" Summary; "Harry tortures himself and Draco seems to always save him, the war's still on, vampires, veelas, heirs..." -C

Some Kind of Feeling by Maximum Poofy is very good. Angsty, this Draco/Harry story is AU all the way, baby. "What if magic never existed? Harry Potter's life in a regular highschool, he's a nobody. Then comes Draco, making him feel like a somebody. warning: language and non-consensual situations." Rated "R" or "M". There is a sequel. -C

If God Would Send His Angels byJust Silver is a good story, although it is just getting up on its feet. Lucius/Harry and Harry/Other Characters, with hints of Harry/Draco, this story is rated "M" or "R". Summary;"Harry makes a bargain. When Lucius comes to collect, will Harry follow through?"

Give Me A Reason by Without Permission is the only Ron/Justin story I have read and it makes up for all the lack of other fics of that pairing. "Ron has low thoughts on himself and writes in his journal, he finds comfort in the least likely person, and finds himself in a war that will now involve him. Vamps, new species, Journal manipulation..." Rated "M" or "R". Cliche has nothing to do with it, trust me. -C

LINK- Here you can find Irresistable Poison by Rhysenn. The summary that is posted on the site is as follows; "Under the influence of a love potion,Draco learns that poison doesn't always bring death -- there are other ways to suffer and live. Chemical emotion runs feverish as Harry and Draco discover the intoxication of love." Rated PG-13. This is, of course, a Draco/Harry story. There is artwork and even several language translations. -C

An added thingy...I've created a website...sorta...to host my stories. n.n I'll post new stories there before I post them here. Also, I'll be adding to "Second Chances" and that will only be found there. I don't know when I'll do that, but when I do, I'll only be finishing up that last scene and no more. n.n; If you e-mail me or IM me with stories you want me to host on that site, I'll put them up.
