Hello, I'm The Real JL Rules, 38-year-old Englishman from (get this) England.

I used to post Justice League: The Animated Series stories back in 2002-2003, as JLRules. I began posting my first one (Together) here on FanFiction.net many years ago, but stopped early.

I was inspired to get back in the writing game by the DC Femslash Meme, specifically The Sacred and Profane's request for Litter. Thanks, dude.

Below is the chronological timeline for The Selina/Zatanna Chronicles, for new readers who wish to read them in order, or old readers who wish to reread them in order (hint hint!). As more stories are added, it'll obviously change. Also included are Apologies are in Order and Surprises: with the former, the Kyle-Zataras aren't even in it, but it does specifically follow events from a previous story; meanwhile, the latter is an ensemble piece, but it does feature Selina and Zee prominently.

I am also writing stories based after the events of Jurassic World, following the relationship between Lex Murphy and Claire Dearing. So far, this is the chronological order:

2. Never Again
3. Reunion

I also have something I like to call Wayback Wednesdays. Every Wednesday, I posted a chapter/story that I wrote over a decade ago, and presented on 's RPG forum. Based on the Justice League animated series, I wrote seventeen stories branching off after the first season. I hope you enjoy them, just remember: they were done over ten years ago. Hopefully I've improved since then (probably not). The stories are numbered in chronological order.

I am happy to accept and consider any story ideas/prompts. Though I don't/won't feel any obligation to do them, I am always open to suggestions.
