MOVIE RANTS:

GREEN HORNET. Ok, I love the t.v. series so I figured that I would give the movie a shot. I figured "How bad can it be?" The answer...VERY! The series was slightly comedic, but they took it way too far. Everybody seemed to be putting forth the effort to make a decent remake of a good show, except Seth Rogen. He didn't know when to stop. It would have been better if they had fewer jokes. It slid way past comedy and fell into the pool of stupidity.There were a few character changes, but I honestly expected those. Everything else was pretty good. I would have honestly chosen a different actor than Seth Rogan. Thats my big thing. My movie score is 8 stars. Not a "Buy it the minute is comes out" movie but I eventually got it.

THOR I mean WTF? How do you repair a rainbow bridge? Do you call the Care Bears? Is Love-a-lot Bear your contractor? I s Rainbow Bright your architect? Did they really think it through? I have no issues as to how he goes back to earth, considering that Loki made the comment about there being many secret back doors leading to earth, but seriously, the bridge? Even with this minor overlooked plot-point, this is sooooo a "Buy it the minute it comes out" movie. I mean Chris Hemsworth with his shirt off? *faints*

FRIGHT NIGHT. Loved this movie. Vampiric Colin Ferrell? Whats not to love? My only issue was that they killed him. Pissed me off. And David Tennant spoofing Criss Angel? Loved it too. But I will admit, the man has a very foul mouth. This movie is a "stalk wal-mart till the day it comes out and buy it as soon as it hits the shelves" movie.

THE AVENGERS. There isn't enough space to begin saying why I loved this movie. Except for one itty-bitty thing. Bruce Banner says that the secret is that he is always angry. Which tells us that he as learned to control it. However, if that is the case, then why did he hulk out and chase Black Widow down and tried to attack her during the attack on the ship? If he could control it, then he would have been able to not do all of that. Just food for thought.

DARK SHADOWS. Love the T.V. show, but I will absolutely have nothing to do with that aborted, cinematic, love child of Johnny Depp and Tim Burton!

HANSEL AND GRETEL. Love it on principle because of Jeremy Renner, but he seemed to get his ass kicked alot in the movie. Just sayin.
