UPDATE FOR 1/5/2018

Profile Updates
Well, I'm just here to say that I've updated a few things on my profile. I looked over it and there were a lot of things that I put on here way back in the day, so I've been updating it just to conform to my current interests. Despite my absence from writing, I am still an active reader on here, and I will continue to enjoy the amazing stories all of you put out. In addition, I'll also be making changes to my profile to 'trim' it down just a bit. I will be getting rid of upcoming story information (mainly because there is none), but I will keep most of the profile.

A Beautiful Sadness Re-Write
I hope everyone has been having a great new year so far, and I'm just making a quick announcement that I will be doing a sort of 're-write' on A Beautiful Sadness. I was just looking back on it the other day and I really just don't like how I developed some of the characters and a couple chapters could use some cleaning up. Writing styles change over time, and I think that I can add some improvements to the story without changing the overall plot too much. I've already begun this process, so chapter one should be up in the next couple days. After that, I'll probably be done here on FF, but thank you as always for your support over the years. Check back here in the next couple of weeks regarding updates to the re-write.

THE FANFICTION PHILOSOPHY:

PET-PEEVES:

1) When people get writing on a very good story and then decide to abandon it, leaving us all in suspense for another chapter that will never come. (Yes I know I'm a total hypocrite)

2) Flames. When people go out of their way to call out a story and say its stupid. It may be one thing to say, "Hey, I didn't really like that chapter and there were a few grammar errors." But it is horrible to see someone say something like, "OMG! That sucked! Made me want to barf all over the place. Hope u don't write anymore asshole" (We've all seen comments like this) I know what goes in to making a story, and to have others make a total mockery out of something someone worked hard on is just not classy.

ADVICE TO NEW WRITERS: Well now that I've been here a while, I will finally give some just based on my experiences writing.

1) NEVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF! Yes, maybe it sounds a little cheesy, but writing is all about making mistakes and becoming better through them. If you don't like what you're writing, stop for a minute. Go back and change things! It's okay to run into a bit of a writers block and discover plot holes in your story. But with some perseverance and dedication you can turn anything into a good piece of literature. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BE PROUD OF YOUR WORK.

2) YOU WILL LOSE INTEREST IN WRITING OVER TIME. Yes, as hard as it is to hear, you really don't see many lifetime members on here, do you? Well, many people lose interest, or become too busy to focus on writing (AKA myself) Please don't let that happen to you! Find new inspirations, new ways to create a story! Writing is a great way to express your emotions and creativity in ways that you just can't in everyday life. I stopped writing, and I became disinterested in what was once my favorite hobby. DON'T BE LIKE ME!
