Current Story Status

Thinking about starting something new. FMA Projects - On hiatus. Sorry folks.

3/9/2018 It's been over a year and a half since I've written, well, anything. Life got pretty busy for me for awhile. Work became more demanding, my computer broke, then I got engaged and now married, moved, plus a new job and looking to change jobs again soon. I haven't had much time to write and my muse left me sometime back in '16. Unfortunately, with all of this, my stories have been lost. I honestly can't remember half of what I was planning to write. The truth it, ABNE was not supposed to run as long as it did. I had wanted to finally finish a project and was working towards the end, but it just kept building and spiraled out of control. I'm not in a place right now where I could go back to it. I haven't even watched FMA in over a year (tried to watch the live action but... yeah). I won't say that I'll never come back to it - who knows what I may be inspired to do in the future? But for now, all of my FMA stories are going on hiatus. I am terribly sorry to leave you all on a cliff hanger but if I tried to continue it now, it wouldn't live up to it's promise. I am going to try and get into writing again if I can find the time. Who knows, once my muse gets back on track (and I re-watch FMA to get the characters back in my head) I may be back to finish one or two of these.

Same as it Never Was: A Fullmetal Alchemist Fanfiction

Any TMNT fans will recognize the title but you should know that this is not a crossover, nor will there be any ninja turtles in this story. Rather it will be a complete Fullmetal spin on SAINW with lots of new twists and turns.

Summary:

Al is gone. Ed struggles to get through each day, following orders and doing what is necessary to survive, but not really living. Until one day, a strange mission leads him to another world - a terrible world where fear and violence have destroyed all that was good, where humunculi reign, and where the Fullmetal Alchemist never existed. Yet it is here that Ed finds hope - it is here that he meets the Auric Alchemist and together they fight to restore peace to Amestris.

I'm not entirely sure I'll ever write this but the idea has been bouncing around in my head for awhile. It doesn't have much direction after the beginning and a few random scenes I've thought up though. I'm curious if anyone would be interested in reading it.

Summary:

When a Cretan Ambassador comes to Amestris searching for his long lost sister, only to discover she has died, he goes looking for her son instead. But what will Ed have to say when he is forced to return to Creta with his supposed "Uncle." Can Ed keep Al a secret? Can he endure being "educated" for the noble life? And however will he manage to put up with his cousin's superiority complex?
