I like the song! That's really funny and inventive. The point of view is really good. I know what is going on with everybody at once, and many fanfiction authors don't do that and just switch from point of view to point of view and it gets confusing after a while. Thank you so much for writing this story!

Personally, I don't read the Hiccup runs away for the reveals. I could care less about those. But you did a great job with this. I've never found one where Stoic knowingly attacks him. That whole chapter was so in depth and amazing. This is an awesome story and I can't wait to read more.

Hmm, I see what you tried there, getting them to reconcile a bit. But I'm not buying it with how you've characterized Hiccup, getting a little emotional and making a few side comparisons about how they're similar wouldn't be enough to seriously tempt this version of Hiccup, I feel.

I'm missing it here - where in your story did Stoick get the idea that he has another shot with Hiccup now? That has been completely left out - only Astrid and apparently Stoick seem to have picked it up. Hiccup has pretty thoroughly given up on him from what I can tell.

Eh, your story and all, but no reason to bring the twins/Fish except to relive Canon in a way. Unless I'm completely missing something here.
And as accurate as it can be in some cases, I really hate how Hiccup wants to impress his father whatsoever. He's abusive, neglectful, a terrible father. Honestly any love/affection Hiccup has towards him, and all of Berk really, isn't far off from Stockholm syndrome. It'd be nice if he had a spine.
