Sometimes you only realize what you've lost once you begin to retrace your steps. Set pre-series - Long time fan, first time author. I did no research for this (forgive me!). I simply borrowed the characters I fell in love with and see where my mind led them during my breaks at work.

After the massacre at Savoy Aramis is left to pick himself up, piece by piece, without any intention of doing so. This is when he first meets Porthos, who is perfectly content with helping him do it, and then Athos, who despite his own issues manages to hold them togheter as they yet again are on the brink of falling apart.

But when Porthos attacks Aramis out of sheer panic and fear for his friend's life, nobody can blame Aramis for wondering if Porthos was indeed a friend or foe in this situation. Aramis is left alone in the dark for so long that he even loses track of time. My entry in the 'Fete des Mousquetaires' contest for December and sequel to 'Give it Time'.

Aramis finds himself in deeper trouble than he ever has before. Literally.

Pre-Series fic. After Porthos is wounded, Athos and Aramis split up. Later Porthos finds that Aramis has been lying to him about his recovery from Savoy and his current injuries. Then, Athos returns seriously ill. As he tries to keep both men alive, despite their best efforts to kill themselves, will he be able to convince them to live? Will Treville be as forgiving?

Set in series 1. The Musketeers are sent to collect a debt from an infamous merchant down in the city's docks. The day takes a sinister turn as the man refuses to pay his debts and threatens the inseparables with violence, however the situation is about to get much worse as an accident rocks the area and puts all their lives in danger... Hurt!Boys.

Aramis has a terrible habit of downplaying his own injuries to the frustration of all those around him. Also known as five times Aramis classified a terrible injury as an 'annoyance', and one time his friends wished for it. *no slash* Entry into September's "Fete des Mousquetaires Challenge"

Sometimes we feel as though we are more of an annoyance to everyone than we really are. Of course, with our four musketeers, things always escalate before they are talked about. Takes place after Commodities but before TGS. This is my entry for the September Fete des Mousquetaires theme "Annoyance."

An old friend of the King's returns and causes trouble for the Musketeers and Richelieu.

While under strict orders to rest, Aramis manages obedience by passing time observing those around him. But when he witnesses what he believes to be a murder, 'rest' takes a back seat to solving it whether his brothers like it or not. Entry in the August's Fete des Mousquetaires challenge.

When Aramis is abducted and held for trial in the Court of Miracles, it is up to Athos, Porthos and d'Artagnan to prove he is not guilty of Charon's murder.

When Aramis and Treville set out to investigate a threat against the crown, the mission turns into a battle for survival. A daring rescue is mounted in the hopes to defy the devil and his schemes. Brotherhood and H/C.

Complete. One shot. Aramis centred with mild whump. D'Artagnan inadvertently awakens bad memories for Aramis, who must now find a way to move past them with Porthos' help. Author's Note: When writing this, my memory of the series' events served me wrong. This story assumes Aramis knew his pistol was used by the Cardinal to kill Adele, so it is therefore slightly AU.

The Queen and the Dauphin are in danger. How far will Aramis and his brothers go to save them?

Set in Series 1. The King has demanded a walk, however he only wants the Inseparables to accompany him- Aramis is unfortunately the only one available so the two set off on a quick jaunt around the lake to be back by lunch- but when has it ever been that simple? Aramis must rely on an unexpected ally when trouble strikes, and the King shows a new side to himself in the process.

Though Emilie had gone, the seeds of hatred she'd sown against the Spanish took strong root and would take time to fade. Aramis, though a Musketeer, finds himself paying the price. A simple mission turns quickly into a fight for survival for Aramis. He must rely on his Musketeer brothers to even make it through the hard, dark night ahead.

Aramis is shot and robbed of his horse, hat, and weapons...yet by the end of this story, he has reasons to be thankful. My entry in the 'Fete des Mousquetaires' contest for November: Gratitude.

After the escape of Minister Colbert, the Musketeers are tasked with following up a lead concerning Louis' former Finance Minister, who has successfully absconded with the King's gold. Aramis and Porthos are drawn into a deadly game with connections to Athos' past. Sequel to my story "What Remains to Be Seen" but it is not necessary to read that one in order to follow.

Complete. One shot. Aramis centred and whump heavy. Winner of the October 'Fete des Mousquetaires' competition themed, 'brotherhood'. When a brother asks you to stay, you do, without question and without hesitation.

He'd fallen from his horse yesterday, the poor beast stumbling badly and Aramis ending up beneath the animal as it landed and rolled over his right leg.

There is an assassin in town. Will the Musketeers be able to stop him before he completes his mission?

After a mission for the Cardinal, Aramis struggles to remember how it was that he returned to the garrison wounded and alone. Takes place early season 1.

"Ah, yes," Aramis gave a small nod, taking a drink of his wine to soothe his smoke-ravaged throat. "It was a case of mistaken identity." Takes place near the end of season 1.

When Porthos decided to make an overture of friendship to the sole survivor of the Savoy Massacre, he had no idea how much Aramis would affect the course of his life - if he could just keep him alive long enough to find out.

During one of the most vivid heat waves in memory, one of the boys finds himself losing hope trapped in a cell that resembles an oven.

It's early winter in the south of France. Athos and Porthos find themselves stuck in a swamp while trying to rescue their horses from bandits who may or may not be simple horse thieves. Aramis and d'Artagnan stand a valiant defense of their mired friends and all of them pay with various levels of injury and regret. -Complete.

Following on from 2x06, a worried Porthos cares for his injured best friend Aramis, thinking on how lucky they are for Aramis to still be with them. The title comes from the quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson; "The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall". I dunno why but I thought the quote just seemed to fit for Aramis in 2x06

This is a whump D'Artagnan and add a bit of Porthos whump fic. Lots of H/C. Lots of angst. Basically D'Artagnan and Porthos have to play their parts to save the King and things don't go as planned and whump and angst and H/C ensue. And lots and lots of brotherhood.

His gun. His musket ball. Aramis could see the blood from here. He'd done this.

Aramis makes a mistake and it tears the brotherhood apart.

Just a simple mission...gone very awry. When their field medic is put out of commission, who will pick up the needle and wield it in his stead? Plenty of brotherly banter and more than a little hurt/comfort.

He was more terrified than he'd let on, but knew that d'Artagnan needed him to stay steady. Now that he was alone, his mind conjured unbidden the many stories he'd heard from those who'd survived the fevers in the past – if this was the start of another epidemic, no one was safe.

Five times Porthos helps Aramis through various sticky situations. Each time Aramis tells Porthos to leave him behind and each time Porthos must convince his friend that he will never leave Aramis behind. And the one time Aramis finally understands Porthos does not abandon his friends, no matter what mess they get into.

Jason and Pythagoras once again try their hand at hunting not realizing they are the ones being hunted.

Richelieu and the newest captain of his guards, Count de Rochefort, come up with a plot to destroy Aramis because of the musketeer's act of loving Adele so she'd betray him, as well as in hope of eventually bringing down Queen Anne before she can expose the Cardinal's treasons to the King, without exposing her own secret to Louis. Takes place directly after the season one finale.

While riding in the woods, Merlin and Gwaine are attacked by bandits, and Gwaine is mortally wounded. Merlin is forced to choose between trusting Gwaine with his secret or losing his best friend forever. Oneshot. Set in the interlude between seasons 4 and 5.

When his worries begin to overwhelm his better judgement, Aramis is forced to reveal his indiscretion in the convent. (One shot. Spoilers for season 1.)

And his own voice echoed through his head, mocking. "Death is inevitable, but you'll bleed for hours first."

The disbelief warred with disgust across Porthos' scarred face. He growled, shaking his head. "I'd rather die like a man than be hunted like an animal."

When d'Artagnan experiences a close call that leaves him shaken, the other Musketeers reminisce about times they, too, believed they faced death alone.

Five times the musketeers saved themselves and one time Treville had to do it for them. Or in which they all spend far too much of their time in cells and Athos doesn't know which god he pissed off to have landed him with these three morons. No Slash.

Summary: "Duel," snorted Ballestra. "I've no intention of dueling." He cocked the pistol. "I will just shoot him." "Do it," hissed Porthos, "and I will tear you apart."

Or, five times Aramis sewed someone up and one time he was sewn up. musketeers!whump No slash intended, though could probably be read that way.

Kinda can't believe I'm writing one of these, but... Five times Athos had to rein Aramis in and one time it was the other way around.

At first, Porthos just assumes Aramis drank too much. Inspired by a gorgeous fanart by kaciart on tumblr (link inside because ffnet is fussy.)

So just an average patrol round Camelot, but a conversation goes on to reveal more than expected for Arthur and the knights

Gwaine apologizes for the Lamia incident and discovers a dark piece of Merlin's past. Tag Lamia. Gwaine Merlin Friendship, no slash. Bit of Merlin whump but not too much. Read and review One-shot.

The attack had come out of nowhere. The sorcerer wanted someone of noble blood and someone with powerful blood. So why, for the love of Camelot, were Merlin and Gwaine the ones to be taken?

Spoilers to 4x02! With Lancelot gone, Merlin is left feeling more alone than ever. His best friend, his true friend, the one he could always talk to, is gone. Merlin doesn't see the point in talking at all anymore. Oneshot.

Merlin saves the day - yet again - when he manages to get an injured Arthur and knights to safety. But Merlin's troubles are far from over when an investigation into what had happened to the king and knights leaves him in a bad way, and now it's Arthur and Gwaine's turn to be there for him. Gen, friendship.

Merlin is injured in an attack and the knights all worry about their friend. Just a little story that I thought of last night. Not slash.

On their way back to Camelot, Merlin and Gwaine take a moment to mourn. Spoilers for The Darkest Hour.

Now this, Gwaine thought as he looked around the cell he was now sharing with Gaius and Elyan, was exactly the reason why he'd spent his life living from tavern to tavern and drink to drink.
