So guys this is the last chapter and it may be a little rushed but I think its ok.

Chapter 6

The forest seemed silent as the two men waited for would happen next. When Arthur did nothing Merlin relaxed slightly. "What are you going to do with me" Merlin asked.

Arthur sighed and answered "I don't know. Some parts of me say you should die, but others say you're my friend. Just tell me this, have you ever used magic against Camelot?"

"No, I use my magic for you Arthur, only for you. I will never betray you, till the day I die." replied Merlin. Arthur nodded, the sincerity in Merlin's voice was so meaningful. He believed him. "I guess most those scars are from protecting me then" Merlin nodded "You do seem to attract a lot of trouble."

They reunited with the others and once again sat round the fire, this time discussing Merlin's magic. Merlin told them many stories of what he had done and accidently let enough things slip. "You talked to that great bloody DRAGON?" yelled Arthur. Merlin sighed and told them about Killgarah, and about Balinor.

At the end of Merlin's stories Gwain said "All those handy Branches falling down, Arrows suddenly changing direction and Enemy's suddenly dropping to the floor were you weren't they" Merlin nodded "To be honest I can't believe none of you noticed."

"We really are quite stupid" said Elyan. "Hey, I noticed" said Lancelot. "Oh Yeah, How did you find out?" asked Leon "I don't think it's that hard to miss when your friend is shouting strange words behind you and the spear your holding suddenly glows bright blue and kills a creature that is only possible to be killed with magic" laughed Lancelot.

Merlin blushed "I didn't have time to be under cover." defended Merlin. "Yeah, yeah, that wasn't the brightest move though was it" pointed out Percival.

There was silence for a while. "Why did you never tell us?" Merlin looked down, and said "There have been times when I nearly did. But I was a coward; I was scared not of what your reaction would be but that I would lose my home, my friend. Camelot was the only place I felt accepted, I didn't want to lose that."

Arthur felt the sadness in Merlin's voice. "You are no coward Merlin; you are just one of those people subject to a harsh and unfair law which kills people for what they sometimes can't help. Those laws are wrong, I see that now. Now I am king, I will change those laws. I promise Merlin, you don't need to hide anymore." The knights nodded in agreement and Merlin felt a great weight lift off him; Maybe Albion was possible after all.

The end

This fic is way shorter than my other one. But that's because I am going to use this to spark some sequels, probably not for a while though. Thank you all for reading. This probably could have been better but never mind. Hope you liked it. Will be starting more stories soon!
