Author has written 48 stories for Mass Effect, and Dragon Age. I went on a long hiatus due to illness and some real-life stuff (at the time, I thought it would be permanent), and I'm afraid I got out of the habit of posting here. Quick Reference Guide To Fics: I wrote a lot of short one-shots, so this isn't a complete list of my fics; here, however, are all the character study-ish/pairing-orientated ones. Morgana Amell/Alistair: She Dreams Of Paradise (pre-DA:O), Armour (Blight story, ongoing), Control, Dreams & Books (ongoing, Connor and young Morgana's story), Epic, Youth, Pint for my friend here, News, Keep Tweeting, The Drunkard, Aftermath, and Satinalia & Silk. Anders: Most of Dreams & Books, as well as Harrowed, Pint for my friend here, Keep Tweeting, The Drunkard, Running, Making Amends, and Freedom. John Shepard/Tali:Chocolate, Observation & Engineering, John, The Sound Of Silence, Oblivious, Solace, Loved & Lost, Belonging, Once More With Feeling, Mutual Respect, Pleasant Surprises, Vas Normandy, and In My Place. Eva Shepard/Joker:Three Words, Coffee, From The Flames, and Wrong Time, Wrong Place. Favourite FanFic Authors: ChampionTheWonderSnail: For the wonderfully weird, Pratchett-esque saga of a slightly odd, baking, tainted-from-birth mage and a confused ex-templar. Crisium: has an incredible way of capturing pain and humour, occasionally simultaneously. ElectricZ: For the stories about the old crew. Writes a sweet Tali. Enaid Aderyn: An author whose work always surprises me - she captures characters so perfectly and so sweetly, and has that rare talent of being able to write brilliant bittersweetness. Ferasha: Speciality: harrowing psychological studies. Not exactly sunny, but done with skill and care, as well as a sad beauty. JayRain: To be lazy here: read any one of her stories - especially her Anders pieces - and you'll get what I mean straight away. Inspired and in-character. I now add to that list her Cailan works, which it is imperative people read. She adds a depth to him that the game was tragically lacking (or just hinting at, you're never sure with BioWare). karebear: A writer whose stories are brilliant - often at breaking your heart - and an excellent reviewer. Her stories are food for thought. MLoreley85: For her sometimes harrowing tales of Blights, demons, and... really awkward first (and second) love. Evelyn's an incredibly likeable, sweet mage, and kudos to the author for having a brilliant Cousland in there too. meaninglessmonotony: Writes far better Shoker than me. (Well-meaning) Grrr. Merilsell: For her brilliant tales of angry, elf-shem love - Of Elves & Humans was one of the first fanfics I ever read, and one of a few that got me writing in the first place rather than appreciatively lurking. Serindrana: Her work is searing and occasionally dark, but she has the gift of making you think twice about a character. (No, really - her Ser Cauthrien and Bethany work is astonishing, and really provoked an interest in the characters for me). Suilven: She has an easy, fluid writing style; her stories are always well-observed, too, striking the right balance between fluff and drama and using each where needed. Her stories are by turns fun and fluffy and absolutely wrenching - there's something for everyone. VenomRED: For his lovingly detailed writing, hiss appreciation of the whole team as characters, and the absolutely tugging, bittersweet way he can write Shep/Tali. |
