Hello there all! I am J.E.McCormickGal, though you may call me Jem for short. I am 18 years old, genderfluid, and English, I love writing, and I think that’s about all you need to know about me. This account is very rarely updated, but I do come back here occasionally.

My main fandom is Les Miserables. Although I may sometimes post odd stories and oneshots, for the most part, all my Les Miserables stuff will be posted to my AO3, which you can find here.

Although I have written for South Park in the past, I have left that fandom, so all stories there are completed or discontinued. Sorry!
Axis Powers Hetalia is no longer a main fandom of mine, so presume stories in that fandom are completed or discontinued. If you want additional chapters of oneshot collections updated, you can PM me and I may be able to find little things I've written and never published.
I've also written a bit for Rise Of The Guardians and may continue sometimes. Depends on whether I've rewatched the movie recently or if things get reviews asking for more.

Darkest Before Dawn

This is very, very slow on the updates, I'm sorry! Luckily I did write in the buffer, so I have up to Chapter 5 written. I also have titles of all 10 planned chapters, so I'm hoping that once I get some more inspiration, I will be able to keep writing and hopefully, HOPEFULLY, finish the story. Every review counts towards me remembering to update and try writing, so they're much appreciated.

Oneshots may still be occasionally posted. Oneshot collections may get updates if I find old fics I like, or I get asked to look. It's pretty unlikely though.

Italians

These lot are important if you want to understand any references to the Italian family I make. To get some more backstory on them, head on over to Inside Italia, which focuses on them. So far I’ve gotten very positive feedback on my OCs, so hopefully you’ll like them as well.

San Marino – Santo Vargas, appears around 26. Oldest brother.
Curl: Curls upwards and out on the left, his curl is the highest of all the Northern Italians.
San Marino is an extremely over-protective brother, who often goes too far even when he has his siblings’ best interests at heart. He can be easily jealous of those getting close to his brothers, and holds long-lasting grudges against any that have taken them away in the past. He has a particular hatred for Spain.

Vaticano – Piero Vargas, appears about 22. Romano’s twin.
Curl: Almost exactly the same as Romano’s, high on the right, Vaticano’s is slightly further back, and doesn’t curl upwards quite as much.
Vaticano can be quite uptight and has a very righteous attitude about him. He is heavily Catholic, and has very outdated views. He gets into a lot of conflict with Romano. The two used to be very close, but were separated when Romano was taken by Spain, and Vaticano locked himself away in his church. They are identical, and have very similar personalities, which only causes more problems.

Romano – Lovino Vargas, appears about 22. Same age as Vaticano.
Curl: High and on the right, slightly further forwards and curls upwards more than Vaticano’s.
Romano is a very insecure and defensive person. He’s aggressively shy, and hides behind a big front of anger and irritation. He argues a lot with his older brothers, but gets on well enough with his younger siblings, in particular Sicily. For the most part, he doesn’t live in the main household anymore, having moved in with Spain.

Veneziano – Feliciano Vargas, appears about 20. 'Middle' child.
Curl: Low, on the left side of his head.
Veneziano, although usually bouncy and very care-free by nature, isn’t always as oblivious as he seems. He wants all of his siblings to get along, and can become very distressed by their fighting. He’s also aware of his older brothers’ dislike of his closeness to Germany, which can sometime wear down on him. He’s actually quite a worrier, though seems to think he blows things out of proportion.

Sicily – Giovanni Vargas, appears about 17. Same age as Sardinia and Corsica but seems to act as oldest.
Curl: Midway, right side.
Sicily is often quite withdrawn, and like Romano hides his insecurities behind a bluff. He often feels overshadowed and overlooked, which contributes to his inferiority complex. He is never seen without his trilby hat, as it holds a great emotional significance to him. He gets on best with Romano, and the two seem to have an understanding of eachother.

Sardinia – Valeria Vargas, appears about 17. Same age as Sicily and Corsica.
Curl: Her curl is right in the middle of her head, and curls straight upwards and back.
Sardinia is the only girl of the family and a very complex character. She developed a split personality around the time her brothers were fighting for their freedom and unity. This personality, Achille, deals with her pain and grief, which she can’t handle herself, and as a result of that he can be extremely cruel. He blames her brothers for all her problems, and lashes out at them when he can. Eventually, Achille splits entirely from Sardinia, becoming the Island of Crete.

Corsica – Leonardo Bonnefoy-Vargas, appears about 17. Same age as Sicily and Sardinia, but seems to be treated as the youngest.
Curl: Midway on the left side, slightly smaller than his siblings’.
Corsica is very jumpy and nervous, flinching at any loud sounds, or really near enough anything. He lives with France, and has taken his human last name, though still counts himself as a ‘half-brother’ to the other siblings. He has a very good relationship with Sardinia, however due to the loud and often quite violent natures of some of his brothers he doesn’t like being around the others.

Seborga – Ponzio Vargas, appears about 10. Youngest child.
Curl: Low on the left, like Veneziano’s, but smaller. It’s also angular.
Seborga is generally very happy-go-lucky, a lot like Veneziano. He’s great friends with Sealand and Wy, and out of his brothers he’s usually around Veneziano the most. However, like Veneziano, he’s a worrier, and often gets upset when his brothers fight, feeling that he can’t do anything because of how small he is.
