Author has written 5 stories for Naruto, One Piece, D.Gray-Man, and Star Wars. It's been a long time. I have put my previous stories on hold. They are not abandoned but I will not be continuing them yet. The reasons for this are several but they all tie to the Manga/Anime experience: The Naruto stories have become a bit of a struggle for me to write. I know where I want to go with them and how, but the closing arc of the series killed any joy I had for the franchise (same with Bleach actually, funny how that works). I will still be trying to finish them in the future though. The Nightshade in particular is my first work here and I do not want to abandon it! The D.Gray-man story has been stuck for a while too. I also know where I want it to go, but the inconsistency of the releases of the Manga, paired with the fact that the last 50 chapters or so left me without any idea of how the series world actually works, have made it difficult for me to find the inspiration to continue. DEVIL is also on hold but that is of no fault of Oda's. I just need to figure out how to get the sotry where I want it to go. I know what I want to put in it, just not how. To reiterate: None of my stories are abandoned. I just may take a while to get back to them. Since it has been so long since I have written anything and given what I listed above, I have started a new fic, as a way of getting back into it. It is set in the Star Wars universe and will be my way of trying to write my own episode VII. Please read the notes on the intro chapter and be respectful of everyone's opinions. I'm writing an original story that I might post sometime in the appropriate place. Quotations: "There are few thing we can be sure of, in this life; Passing on, that's dead certain!" - Captain Barbossa It is generally true that, the more preparations one has for an event, the more inconveniently fast the event will occur. Monica Fairview, Darcy Cousins, 2010 But when a young lady is to be a heroine, the perverseness of forty surrounding families cannot prevent her. Something must and will happen to throw a hero in her way. Jane Austen (1775 - 1817), Northanger Abbey That is not dead which can eternal lie. |
