I love when people find someone they love, just to end up loosing them. Not really, but it might seem like that b/c the movies I like both have that happen. Movie writers sure are mean these days. JK!

almost forgot my new favorite movie: The Illusionist!

it's amazing! i watched it 3 times the first time i got it. you all should watch it. read my quotes on it and it will really get you excited about wtching it. i think it is now my favorite movie, actually!

Favorite Book: ~Twilight~

Also, if you have favorite quotes that I didn’t list that you like, I would love to hear them and they may get added (you will get credit for them too).

Twilight:

“And so the lion fell in love with the lamb…”

-Edward Cullen

“I’m tired of trying to staying away from you.”

-Edward Cullen

“Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars, points of reason and light. And you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire, there was brilliancy, there was beauty.”

-Edward Cullen

“It’s an off day without someone telling me how edible I smell.”

-Bella Swan

About three things I was absolutely positive:

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him–and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be–that thirsted for my blood.

And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

Bella: “Do you want me to bold the doors so you can murder the unexpected townsfolk?”

Edward: “And where do you fit into that scheme?”
Bella: “Oh, I’m with the vampires of course.”

“The way I feel about you will never change. Of course I love you- And there’s nothing you can do about it.”

-Bella Swan

Bella: I love you.

Edward: You are my life now.

Edward: I will stay- isn’t that enough?

Bella: Enough for now.

I’d never given much thought to how I would die– I’d had reason enough in the last few months –but even if I had, I would not have imagined it like this. . . . Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of something else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something.

New Moon:

“Sorry I can’t be the right kind of monster for you, Bella.”

-Jacob Black

You wanted me to be human…Well watch me.

-Bella Swan

Good bye, I love you

-Bella Swan

Longing to hear that velvet voice…

-Bella Swan

Why can you believe the lie but not the truth.

-Edward Cullen

Edward: Marry me first.

Bella: Ok, what’s the punch line?

Edward: You’re wounding my ego, Bella. I just proposed to you, and you think it’s a joke.

Bella: Edward, please be serious.

Edward: I am a 100 serious.

Bella: Oh c’mon, I’m only 18.

Edward: Well, I’m a 110. It’s about time I settle down.

Forbidden to remember, terrified to forget.

“When I told you that I didn’t want you, it was the very darkest form of blasphemy.”

-Edward Cullen

I knew he wasn’t there, and yet he felt improbably close.

Option Three: Edward loved me.

“I promise that this will be the last time you see me. I won’t come back. I won’t put you through anything like this again. You can go on with your life, without any more interference from me. It will be as if I never existed.”

-Edward Cullen

The waves of pain that had only lapped at me before now reared high up and washed over my head, pulling me under.

I did not resurface.

October…November…December…January

Time passes. Even when it seemed impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand pulses like the blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly and in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for me.

Eclipse:

“There’s something…strange about the way you two are together… The way he watches you—it’s so…protective. Like he’s about to throw himself in front of a bullet to save you or something.”

-Renee Dwyer

“Do you ever think that your life might be easier if you weren’t in love with me?”

-Edward Cullen

“Would you like to hear my story, Bella? It doesn’t have a happy ending—but which of ours does? If we had happy endings, we’d all be under gravestones now.”

-Rosalie Hale

“I didn’t have quite the same…upbringing as my adopted siblings here. My beginning was something else entirely.”

-Jasper Hale

“Do you think either of them would give up if you died? They’d still fight, we all would. You can’t change anything, so just be good, okay?”

-Alice Cullen

“I never thought I’d see the day where I’d be willing to take a bet against you, Alice, but it has arrived.”

-Bella Swan

“You’ve experienced the way I can manipulate the emotions around myself, Bella, but I wonder if you realize how the feelings in a room affect me. I live every day in a climate of emotion. For the first century of my life, I lived in a world of bloodthirsty vengeance. Hate was my constant companion.”

-Jasper Hale

Moulin Rouge:

The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.

The Duke: I don't like this ending...
Zidler: Don't like the ending, my dear Duke?
The Duke: Why should the courtesan chose the penniless sitar player over the maharajah who is offering her a lifetime of security? That's real love. Once the sitar player has satisfied his lust he will leave her with nothing. I suggest that the courtesan chose the maharajah.
Toulouse-Lautrec: But, but tell me, that ending does not uphold the Bohemian ideals of truth, beauty, freedom, and...
The Duke: I don't care about your ridiculous dogma! Why shouldn't the courtesan chose the maharajah?
Christian: Because she doesn't love you!... Him... Hi-him, she doesn't love... she doesn't love him.

“I don't need you anymore! All my life you made believe I was only worth what someone would pay for me! But Christian loves me. He loves me! He loves me, Harold. And that is worth everything! We're going away from you, away from the Duke, away from the Moulin Rouge!”

-Satine

“Can't fall in love? But a life without love, that's terrible.”

-Christian

One day I’ll fly away…

-Satine

Come what may. I will love you until my dying day.

-Christian

Why does my heart cry, feelings I can’t fight. You’re free to leave me but just don’t deceive me and please believe me when I say I love you.

-Christian

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. And then, one not-so-very special day, I went to my typewriter, I sat down, and I wrote our story. A story about a time, a story about a place, a story about the people. But above all things, a story about love. A love that will live forever. The End.

-Christian

Titanic:

Jack: Don't do it.
Rose: Stay back! Don't come any closer!
Jack: Come on, just give me your hand. I'll pull you back over.
Rose: No, stay where you are! I mean it! I'll let go!
Jack: (He approaches slowly, gesturing to his cigarette to show that he is approaching merely to throw it over the side into the ocean) No, you won't.
Rose: What do you mean, "No, I won't"? Don't presume to tell me what I will and will not do, you don't know me!
Jack: Well, you woulda done it already.
Rose: You're distracting me! Go away!
Jack: I can't. I'm involved now. You let go, and I'm, I'm gonna have to jump in there after you.
Rose: Don't be absurd. You'd be killed!
Jack: I'm a good swimmer.
Rose: The fall alone would kill you.
Jack: It would hurt. I'm not saying it wouldn't. Tell you the truth, I'm a lot more concerned about that water being so cold.
Rose: How cold?
Jack: Freezing. Maybe a couple degrees over. You ever, uh, you ever been to Wisconsin?
Rose: What?
Jack: Well, they have some of the coldest winters around. I grew up there, near Chippewa Falls. I remember when I was a kid, me and my father, we went ice fishing out on Lake Wissota. Ice fishing is, you know, where you...
Rose: I know what ice fishing is!
Jack: Sorry. You just seem like, you know, kind of an indoor girl. Anyway, I, uh, I fell through some thin ice; and I'm telling you, water that cold, like right down there...
(He gestures with his chin down toward the Atlantic Ocean)... it hits you like a thousand knives stabbing you all over your body. You can't breathe. You can't think. At least, not about anything but the pain. Which is why I'm not looking forward to jumping in there after you. Like I said, I don't have a choice. I guess I'm kinda hoping you'll come back over the railing, an' get me off the hook here.
Rose: You're crazy.
Jack: That's what everybody says but, with all due respect, Miss, I'm not the one hanging off the back of a ship here. Come on. C'mon, give me your hand. You don't want to do this.

Rose: (letting go of Jack's hand) I'll never let go, Jack. I promise.
(she kisses his hand and watches him sink)

Jack: Where to, Miss?
Rose: To the stars.

“I'm not an idiot, I know how the world works. I've got ten bucks in my pocket, I have nothing to offer you and I know that. I understand. But I'm too involved now. You jump, I jump remember? I can't turn away without knowing you'll be all right... That's all I want.”

-Jack

Rose: I love you, Jack.
Jack: Don't you do that, don't say your good-byes.
Rose: I'm so cold.
Jack: Listen, Rose. You're gonna get out of here, you're gonna go on and make lots of babies, and you're gonna watch them grow. You're gonna die an old... an old lady warm in her bed, but not here, not this night. Not like this, do you understand me?
Rose: I can't feel my body.
Jack: Winning that ticket, Rose, was the best thing that ever happened to me... it brought me to you. And I'm thankful for that, Rose. I'm thankful. You must do me this honor, Rose. Promise me you'll survive. That you won't give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise.
Rose: I promise.
Jack: Never let go.
Rose: I'll never let go. I'll never let go, Jack.

Jack: Step up on the railing. Hold on, hold on. Keep your eyes closed. Do you trust me?
Rose: I trust you.
Jack: All right. Open your eyes.
Rose: I'm flying, Jack!

“Well, yes, ma'am, I do... I mean, I got everything I need right here with me. I got air in my lungs, a few blank sheets of paper. I mean, I love waking up in the morning not knowing what's gonna happen or, who I'm gonna meet, where I'm gonna wind up. Just the other night I was sleeping under a bridge and now here I am on the grandest ship in the world having champagne with you fine people. I figure life's a gift and I don't intend on wasting it. You don't know what hand you're gonna get dealt next. You learn to take life as it comes at you... to make each day count.”

-Jack

Remember the Titans:

[Julius visits Gerry in the hospital
Nurse: Only kin's allowed in here.
Bertier: Alice, are you blind? Don't you see the family resemblance? That's my brother.

Coach Yoast: You make sure they remember, FOREVER, the night they played the Titans!

Coach Boone: This is where they fought the battle of Gettysburg. Fifty thousand men died right here on this field, fighting the same fight that we are still fighting among ourselves today. This green field right here, painted red, bubblin' with the blood of young boys. Smoke and hot lead pouring right through their bodies. Listen to their souls, men. I killed my brother with malice in my heart. Hatred destroyed my family. You listen, and you take a lesson from the dead. If we don't come together right now on this hallowed ground, we too will be destroyed, just like they were. I don't care if you like each other of not, but you will respect each other. And maybe... I don't know, maybe we'll learn to play this game like men.

Coach Boone: I'm not gonna talk to you tonight about winnin' and losin'. You're already winners 'cause you didn't kill each other up at camp.

Coach Boone[to his players Tonight we got Hayfield, like all the other schools in this conference their all white, they don't have to worry about race, we do. let me tell you something you don't let anyone come between us, nothing tears us apart, Greek mythology the Titans were greater even than the gods, they ruled their universe with absolute power well that football field out there that's our universe. Let's rule it like titans.

Older Sheryl: People say that it can't work, black, white, here we make it work everyday. We still have our disagreements, of course, but before we reach for hate, always, always, we remember the Titans.

Coach Boone: I don't scratch my head unless it itches and I don't dance unless I hear some music. I will not be intimidated. That's just the way it is.

Sheryl Yoast: In Virginia, high school football is a way of life, it's bigger than Christmas day. My daddy coached in Alexandria, he worked so hard my momma left him, but I stayed with coach, he needed me on that field.

Carol Boone: Sometimes life is hard for no reason at all.

Blue Stanton: Five, Six, Five Six Seven Eight!
Team: Everywhere we go -Everywhere we go-, people wanna know -people wanna know-, who we are -who we are-, so we tell them -so we tell them- We Are The Titans! -We Are The Titans!- The Mighty Mighty Titans! -The Mighty Mighty Titans!...

Wicked:

And so I ask you, are people born wicked or do they have wickedness thrust upon them. After all she had a father, she had a mother, as so many do. Oh but just wait, so much happened before Dorothy ever decided to drop in.

There can a time when Elphabia, the Wicked Witch of the West, had to say good bye to her friend Glenda, the good witch. She said, “I don’t know if I’ve been changed for the better, but because I knew you, I have been changed for good.”

So, in the end, our two witches find that it’s better to dance through life, because after all, despite our differences and even if you’re a little bit green, everyone deserves a chance to fly.

The Illusionist:

Eisenheim: Everything you have seen here has been an illusion.

Chief Inspector Uhl: As a boy, I'm told, he had a chance encounter with a traveling magician. One version of the story was that the man himself vanished... along with the tree. People began to think he had some sort of special power... or at least that he was a bit different. And then he met her.

Josef Fischer: Life and death. Space and time. Fate and chance. Theses are the forces of the universe. Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you a man who has unlocked these mysteries. From the furthest corners of the world where the dark arts still hold sway he returns to us to demonstrate how nature’s laws may be bent. I give you Eisenheim.

Eisenheim: I thought we might end this evening with a discussion of the soul. All of the greatest religions speak of the soul’s endurance before the end of life. So what then does it mean to die?

Crown Prince Leopold: Well done.
Eisenheim: Thank you for coming. I hope you enjoyed it.
Crown Prince Leopold: Oh, we more than enjoyed it, it stimulated great discussion among us hasn't it. Except of course for your assistant Duchess Von Teschen, you seem to have struck her quite speechless. Did you hypnotize her?
Eisenheim: In a fashion.
Crown Prince Leopold: I'd like to learn that trick. Reinher here seems to think you have supernatural powers. Do you claim supernatural powers?
Eisenheim: I've never said anything of that kind.
Crown Prince Leopold: Then you won't mind me asking a question or two?
Sophie: Oh, lets not ruin it.
Crown Prince Leopold: I needn't divulge in anything I can't guess.
Eisenheim: As you wish.
Crown Prince Leopold: Your assistants are behind the mirrors somewhere, in robes obviously; lights in the frame perhaps to illuminate them or angled mirrors.
Eisenheim: That would be one way to do it.
Crown Prince Leopold: I think I understand it all except the ghost. That was very very good.
Josef Fischer: Another viewing, perhaps?
Crown Prince Leopold: You must come the Hoffburg next time. We'll make an evening of it.
Eisenheim: That would be my pleasure.
Crown Prince Leopold: So be it. Sophie. I will gather our best minds next time. You really have to challenge them.
Eisenheim: Then I shall prepare something special. Perhaps I'll make you disappear.

Eisenheim: My intention has only been to entertain, nothing more.

Chief Inspector Uhl: That was very foolish last night. You can’t destroy him. You can’t bring down the monarchy.

Eisenheim: I know I can’t.

Chief Inspector Uhl: Then don’t raise her again. Don’t provoke those questions.

Chief Inspector Uhl: Eisenheim, I don't want to arrest you. I'm a cynical man, God knows... but if your manifestations are somehow real... then even I'm willing to admit, you're a very special person. And if it's a trick, then it's equally impressive. Either way, you have a gift. So don't make me put you in jail! Promise me you won’t do it again.

Eissenheim: I promise you you’ll enjoy this next show.

Chief Inspector Uhl: What do you want?
Eisenheim: Nothing.

Chief Inspector Uhl: Then why bring her back?
Eisenheim: Just to be with her.

Young Sophie: Make us disappear!

Eisenheim: I was meant to return... I just... I kept thinking I'll find around the next corner...
Sophie: What?
risenheim: A real mystery. I saw remarkable things but the only mystery I never solved was... why my heart couldn't let go of you.

Eisenheim: From the moment we enter this live we are in the flow of it. We measure it and we mock it, but we cannot defy it. We cannot even speed it up or slow it down. Or can we? Have we not each experienced the sensation that a beautiful moment seemed to pass to quickly, and wished that we could make it linger? Or felt time slow on a dull day, and wished that we could speed things up a bit?
