Howdy...!

My name is Caliko, or カリコ エッマ, as my pen name suggests. I'm an artist and a writer. In the years I've been here I feel I've been improving, but I still have a very, very long ways to go. Literary-wise, my inspirations are my abc's, Jane Austen, Ray Bradbury, G. K. Chesterton, Joseph Conrad, Dickens; etc…I'm influenced by music, too. Anything bluegrass, but I grew up on Alanis Morissette and other stuff. I play the violin, mandolin, piano, and guitar. Yes, I am a bitter typical white person who clings to God and my guns. I write for sci-fi (B5; etc.) and anime (Naruto...). I also love to write about Konoha no Shiroi Kiba, and I often get lost on the path of life. Favorites are very much appreciated, and Reviews are even more appreciated. :)

07-20-11: One of the last big formatting changes FF dot net went through. I think I've fixed most everything...

Corrections: As a special note on Coushander, which I did try to make weather, please read the original publish date(s) in relation to this work and the finished manga. Some things, I think, have been made slightly off-canon.

1-20-17: Hi there...

I still float around here from time to time, and there are a lot of updates from other authors I need to get to, so I do apologize. And speaking of updates, I have a couple fics on the back burner still being edited. So maybe I'll actually post something this year. The reason why I haven't is because I'm working on real-life projects and I haven't been online much. I still care about this place, and I'm sorry I'm not near as active as I used to be. If you'd like to PM me for anything, please feel free to do so. I'll get back to you when I'm able.
