Rami-djan chapter 1 . 6/10/2012
so soft and gentle)

I never had thoughts in this way about sand siblings

it's so touchy, thanks author
BundleofContradictions chapter 1 . 10/29/2010
This comes across as so melancholy when their future is taken into account.

The moment is so sweet, yet so fleeting...
Gaaras1Girl chapter 1 . 7/2/2010
How sad, you don't often get to see their mother in such a soft light, well done.
top chapter 1 . 3/14/2010
A sweet story that really captures the voice of a child.
Maerchen Freunde chapter 1 . 2/7/2010
What a beautiful story. A great backstory that rings true. Even though frightened of Gaara, both Kankuro and Temari worry about him and watch over him, as if they made a promise. That kind of love could never have come from the wicked fourth Kazekage. Beautiful.
ChikaMegumi chapter 1 . 12/28/2009
Awwe this was beautiful.. I love the innocence in it. The writing is very nice too!

Randomonium chapter 1 . 5/28/2009
I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVEN'T READ THIS ONE BEFORE!

(I'm bored and stalking your profile, in case you didn't notice P)

I love it! I really do!

It's sad!

Well, actually it's not and it's happy and that's what makes it so sad because her mommy dies!

-sniff-

Now I want MY mommy. I'm sitting here pouting like a two year old. And my mom still does that too and she's a lot older than me (obviously) so I'm not to old to be petulant. But now I want to cuddle my mommy. And I'm not going to see her till Friday, so I can't. And she's working night duty this week. So she's gonna be sleeping most of the time. OH WAIT 5 DAY WEEKEND BOOYAH! ... You know, this is like only the second time in the 3 and a half years that I've been in boarding school that I've actually missed my mom. And at one point I didn't see her for 4 months because she was in England. But now I really want my mom. I realise I'm probably sounding about a third of my age, but I don't care, because my mom gives the BEST cuddles.

SORRY. RAMBLE.

I love little Temari. She's so cute (I have this quirk- I seem to refer to anyone that is under the age of about 6 as an it. I almost said it's so cute. I almost called Temari an it. Pfft whoops)

I loved it. It was beautiful. And this time I'm referring to the story and not Chibi-Temari, which is what I'm now dubbing her.

Um...the title is amazing. Sappho has some really good poems, NOT that I've actually read any (heard... uh... now 2) but Catullus loved her poems and based some of his poems on hers and I like Catullus' poems. Even though most of them were in order to get into Lesbia/Clodia's pant. Such deep conversations we have in Latin... (Yeah we decided that Catullus wanted to 'pants' her (we have coined a new verb) and that 'we're gonna die anyway, so lets have sex now'- also known as the 'just do it /nike' watjamacallit...device is often used by poets.)

I have just added more onto my already long review even though I told myself I wouldn't. Sorry.

Story love.

End.
Shadow Owner chapter 1 . 9/16/2008
lovesrainscent,

This's real sweet. You've surely captured the innocence of childhood splendidly! Great job on weaving the poem into this story and title too. I can just imagine Temari doing that...

Thanks for sharing this precious moment in the Sabaku household!
Anon E. Mouse chapter 1 . 8/25/2008
I wonder...

Did Temari's mother know, at this moment, that she was going to die?

Sweet, adorable little Temari. :)
Kariko Emma chapter 1 . 6/29/2008

IcySweetXIII chapter 1 . 6/23/2008
Sweet. How sad that they can't stay like that forever.
