Author has written 5 stories for Spyro the Dragon.
Introduction:
Hey Everyone! My name is Mystic and welcome to my FanFiction Profile Page. Here you find different things about me, what I hope to achieve in the future and also why I write these stories for you. Have fun!
About Me:
Hello! My name real name is Rob and I am 17 years of age. I can't believe how quickly time has progressed as I am now studying my A-Levels which will set me up to enter the world of university. I love Music, reading, writing, playing games, live streaming, dragons or mythical creatures, animals and spending time with my family. For a career, I want to go into the media and either earn a profession in special effects, animation, film music writing or script writing which I find the thought of incredibly exciting. I have now been doing FanFiction for almost nine months now and I can honestly say that I'm loving every single moment of it. I also have a YouTube channel which I sometimes upload videos for so feel free to check it out if you have the time!
How I came to know FanFiction:
I came to know about FanFiction through a number of friends who had actually written quite a few of them and talked about them a lot. Also, I really wanted a sequel for a certain little purple dragon and I wanted to see what ideas other people have; I can honestly say I am enjoying myself so much reading all of the things you guys have made! There is so much creativity out there! So, I thought... why not write one myself?
My Likes and Dislikes:
As you may have gathered, I am a massive Spyro the Dragon fan, even going as far as to call him my perfect purple son. I came to love Spyro at a young age, playing seasons of ice on a handheld gameboy and playing TLoS: A New Beginning on Playstation 2. Recently however, because of the reignited trilogy, my Spyro instincts were kicked back in and I fell in love with the games all over again, recently playing them on an emulator on my new PC. The only thing that I dislike, is Skylanders. Taking Spyro and making him into something which did not represent him at all, ruined him for old fans who enjoyed the old concepts. In my opinion, Spyro looked like a pug that had been burned alive, then pushed in front of a car and squashed by it. You can tell how much I hate it haha. Moving on from Spyro, I also love DragonBall. I've recently got into it myself, but the entire storyline, characters and fight scenes are absolutely thrilling to me and I can't wait to watch more of it.
How often I expect to write:
Depending on the amount of time I have with school and other things, I will try and upload a chapter every week and they roughly be around 7,000 words so you guys have plenty to read. If I don't upload a chapter in that time frame, it means that I am writing a really big chapter, or I am busy with exams or something else. Don't worry though, I won't forget about you!
My Favourite Romance Pairings:
Romance is by far my favourite genre as it just makes a novel far more enjoyable for a reader when two characters that you have become attached to fall in love and, I can honestly say, it is the best feeling in the world. Here are some of my favourite romances out there:
- Spyro/Cynder (My absolute favourite! TLoS: Dawn of the Dragon)
- Simba/Nala (Lion King)
- Jewel/Blu (Rio)
- Hiccup/Astrid (How to Train Your Dragon)
- Manny/Ellie (Ice Age)
- Vegeta/Bulma (DragonBall)
- Krillin/Android 18 (DragonBall)
- Trunks/Mai (DragonBall)
Current works in progress:
- The Legend of Spyro: The Time of Amity (Being Rewritten by SKda)
- The Legend of Spyro: Visions of Darkness (Chapter 20)
Finished Projects:
- Destiny Can Wait... (One-Shot)
- When You Find Love... (One-Shot For CheetahLover)
- A Love Worth Fighting For... (One-shot)
- Half The World Away... (One-shot)
Special Thanks:
SKdaGamer - While I was writing my first book (The Time of Amity), SKda approached me with a review stating all of the problems that were created during the production of the book itself. In a lot of detail, he picked out certain things that were wrong with the plotline, character relationships and the actual writing itself. After reading the review, I stopped the production and decided to have a one-to-one chat with him to see where I could go with it. Within a week, we became close friends, talking more about our interests, school life and other hobbies rather than just FanFiction. After a while, I presented another plan to him and I asked him if he would be able to beta-read for me. I was thrilled when he said yes and because of him, my writing has improved dramatically so I want to say a massive thank you to SKda for helping me out so much with improvements and just being an all round great guy. SKda is a funny, charismatic and resilient young adult that I am proud to call my friend and I cannot wait for more jokes, laughs and chapter that we will share. Keep being amazing SKda. THANK YOU!
IllusionMaster - This is a special thanks definitely worth giving. Illusion was one of the very first users that ever reviewed my work, praising me on my spelling, grammar and other forms of writing techniques. He's raised my confidence countless times, and partly because of him it is because I still write to this day. Without fail, he has reviewed every single chapter and short story that I have ever written and I'm honestly speechless and eternally grateful of the support and kindness that he has shown me. He was the one that welcomed me into this community and I am pleased that I am able to return the favour by writing chapters that he thoroughly enjoys. So from the bottom of my heart Illusion... THANK YOU!
