By one way or another, you have stumbled across my account profile, and I'm sure some of you are thinking, "I've never heard of this person before. I guess he or she is new around here". I assure you though, that this is not the case.

Despite my unfamiliar account name, most of you probably know me better under the penname of "Yuugi-chan". Now, I'm sure all of you are wondering, "If she's so well-known, why go through all the trouble of creating another account where she can be mistaken as a newbie?". Well, the real reason behind this is rather simple. I felt that I needed a place to store my stylistically stronger pieces of writing; a place where I could put "the best of the best" pieces of fanfiction, and what better way to do that than to create another account? Therefore, due to the nature of this account, these stylistic pieces may be darker than what you may normally see me post on my main account. So please, if you find anything that conflicts with your own personal or religious beliefs, I implore you to hit the "back" button on your browser's navigation bar and find something more suitable to your liking. And while I'm still on this subject, please note that, despite my username, I am not against religion of any kind whatsoever. In fact, I follow one of the major religions myself, so no insult or injury to your beliefs is intended.

Finally, I would like you all to realize that the creation of this account does not mean that I have completely abandoned my main account, as this is not the case. I will still be adding to my regular account and stories contained within it. As I've said before, this is just an archive to store my more stylistically mature works (technique-wise, not content-wise).

Reviewing Policy:

Due to the formality of this account, the way I review your stories will change. Instead of leaving one-liner praises, I will now be leaving full-blown constructive critiques. This includes the good, the bad, and what you could do to improve. So before you send me a PM asking me to review a certain story of yours, please be aware about what you will be receiving. Please note that this is not meant to insult, but to help you improve your own writing, and it'd be very much appreciated if you'd do the same for me. I thrive off constructive criticism as it helps me to improve and grow in my writing. As such, I implore you to leave your reviews in grammatically and structurally correct English, as netspeak tends to make my eyes bleed. If a review is left in netspeak, 1337, or the like, I will request for it to be removed. I know this may sound harsh, but I highly respect the English language, and there is no reason for native English-speakers to treat it as such. Towards non-native English-speakers, I am much more forgiving, as I know you all work hard to use the language correctly, so there is no need for you to apologize in your reviews.

Updating Policy:

I believe in quality over quantity, so there may be rather large periods of time when I do not update, as I will not post a new story or chapter until it is completely perfect in grammar, sentence structure, flow, and punctuation. This might take a few days to a few months, depending how fast my beta-readers send back their revisions and how satisfied I am with it.

Plot-wise, I will not spoon-feed my readers, as the stories in this account are usually planned long in advance, and that I realize that not everyone can be pleased. Therefore, the plot will go the way I decide it to go, and end the way I wish it to. However, I am still open to suggestions, just be aware that they may or may not be incorporated in the storyline.

Contacting Policy:

As you will soon find out, I am very vocal in my opinions, and thus am open to communicating with my readers, as I believe feedback is the best way to learn how one is improving in his or her goals. My main system of communication is by Fanfiction.net's PM system. I implore you to use this system not only because my main e-mail is not available to the general public, but because I know who is contacting me. This system is great if you want to send your questions, comments, or concerns my way. If you PM me a request for beta-reading, I will give you my main e-mail address so I can communicate with you easier (you will learn about my services in the next section). However, if I do give you my main e-mail, do not send me spam of any sort. This includes petitions, chain-letters, one-liners, and the like.

Do not be afraid of voicing your opinions to me as I will not retaliate if I don't agree with you. I encourage you to PM me with your opinions as I do read each and every one of them.

Beta-reading Policy:

I do accept requests for beta-reading, but only if I have time to take the project on. I am a very busy person who believes that her academic success comes before her leisure writing and other duties. Therefore, when I do accept beta-reading requests, I can only accept three commissions at a time. To make this easier for you, below I have put my availability status and slot positions available. This is done on a first come, first serve basis. So please, if you want me to beta-read for you, please check my status first before sending me a request, otherwise it will just be ignored and thrown aside.
