![]() 7/05/09: The rewrite of Calcination is finished, and I've picked up the sequel and expect to have the whole thing finished and posted before I go off to school. Sorry for the long wait. 4/22/09: I know I said that Dissolution would be posted soon, but as I started writing it I realized that there were some discrepancies in Calcination that made understanding Dissolution nearly impossible. Also while outlining all seven of the stories, the plot has decided to go in a different direction. I plan on rewriting Calcination completely to fit into the new plotline. I'm already half finished and I'll be writing Dissolution at the same time, so it won't be long until Seperation. Yay and thanks for your patience. 4/06/09: Harry Potter Muse has returned. Expect sequel to Calcination up soon. Thought I'd explain a little about Calcination and it's sequels. The whole thing is called The Great Work named after the main alchemic process of turning lead into gold. There will be six sequels, each one representing a year of Harry's schooling. Calcination: It's father is the Sun (rated PG-13/T for language and violence) Summary: The process of disintegrating a substance by the expulsion of some volatile matter. Harry's whole life as been volatile thus far. Why should anything change for his first year at Hogwarts? Currently Complete and considering revision Dissolution: It's mother is the Moon (rated R/M for language, violence, gore and dark themes) Summary: The process of dissolving a solid into a liquid. After the events of last year, Harry is left questioning the events that led to him living with his aunt and uncle. Fate seems determined to make things difficult. Separation: The Wind carries it in its belly (rated R/M for language, violence, gore and dark themes) Summary: The process of isolating the components of Dissolution by Filtration. Conjunction: The Earth is its Nurse (rated R/M for language, violence, gore and dark themes) Summary: The process of the recombination of saved elements from Separation into a new substance Fermentation: Separate the Earth from the Fire, the subtle from the gross, gently and with great ingenuity (rated R/M for language, violence, gore and dark themes) Summary: The process of decomposing essences being reabsorbed. Distillation: It rises from Earth to Heaven and descends again to Earth, thereby combining within itself the powers of both the Above and the Below (rated R/M for language, violence, gore and dark themes) Summary: The process of concentration. Coagulation: Thus will you obtain the Glory of the Whole Universe. All Obscurity will be clear to you. This is the greatest Force of all powers, because it overcomes every Subtle thing and penetrates every Solid thing (rated R/M for language, violence, gore and dark themes) Summary: The precipitation of sublimation of the purified Ferment from Distillation. There's this and of course Carpe Diem, which will be updated as the chapters come to me. To be honest, Carpe Diem is my favorite pet project but too much fun makes Jill a dull girl, or something like that. 98 percent of teenagers have tried smoking pot.
