 Author has written 3 stories for Ronin Warriors. Hello, friends! My name is Melissa; welcome to my little writing nook, where I write primarily Ronin Warriors fiction. I've loved the anime since I was in middle school, and although the fandom is tiny, it is fierce, and I've met some amazing people through it. Random facts: I turned 30 this year. I live near Chicago. I just graduated with a B.A. in English this May. I write original fiction, but nothing that's been published beyond some short stories. Other fandoms I love, but will probably never write in: BTVS, Animorphs, Sailor Moon, The Dark Tower Series, Pushing Daisies. Absolute favorite film: The Fall (don't even get me started). The lyrics that are peppered throughout the story are lyrics from these songs. Sol: Ronin Warriors sci-fi AU. I really love sci-fi films, and one of my favorite sci-fi films is Sunshine. This plot bunny took hold when I realized that a number of the characters in Sunshine have personality quirks/roles that resemble some of the Ronins, so I thought: What if the Ronins were tasked with this enormous responsibility? Essentially Ronins in Space (!), borrowing heavily from the plot and concept behind Sunshine (so, not a crossover, but rather an insertion). This is going to be a long one, ladies and gents.
