after 14 seasons i was honestly expecting a miracle at the enddemon deal, stray angel, a reaper... let's say, your version is much more down to earth. it's a thing of beauty but i honestly prefer fiction, doesn't get me so upset. still, standing ovation!

Wish there was a different ending sam got everything he wanted he got his normal life and dean was kinda robbed in this story i wpuld of liked it had dean defined the odds and walked again or at least learnt to live like that and stick around longer

This story really hit hard. Especially when Sam found out Dean died, because recently I had a loss in my family where it was a waiting game and exactly the same thing happened. So I really felt his complete and utter despair.

ohmigawd. That ending. I wasn't ready. I generally don't read death fic and probably wouldn't have read this one had I known it was death fic, but I still think you did a wonderful job. Generally it's sad to think about which of the boys will be the last Winchester standing, but Sam would probably be the best able to survive independently, particularly your version that has a family that needs him. Great characterization. Even with it being an AU, the guys felt in character. Thanks for sharing!
