Chat Noir gets caught in a storm one night and runs to the closest place he knows, Marinette's house. While there he learns who it is she has a crush on and doesn't react as she expected.

Marinette is struggling after the events of Miracle Queen. Balancing her new life is hard, worrying about Hawkmoth hunting her down is harder. Adrien sees that she is sinking, but no one else seems to notice. Marinette doesn't talk to him... Maybe she'll talk to a certain cat..May become rated M in much later chapters.

Marinette already had a hard life, but her life-consuming crush on Adrien just made everything worse. It was exhausting, embarrassing, and deep down, perhaps she knew that it didn't make her happy. It was almost inevitable for it to become too much for her, and after one particularly humiliating experience, it finally does. (contains panic attack)

Post-Heart Hunter/Love Eater. Immediately after Marinette makes her decision, things start changing for her. Meanwhile, Adrien starts to reconsider his options.
