I suppose I should tell you that my name is Melanie and I'm getting back from a looonngg break. I haven't written anything on here for almost 15 years, which is just so crazy and sad, and due to this whole Covid 19 mess, I'm out of work for the time being and have somehow found my way back with a writer's itch that I simply HAD to scratch. I wonder if I've gotten any better or worse since back then; it'll be a journey. Once a writer, always a writer IMO. Please feel free to connect with me!

Name: Mel :)

Username: I literally just thought of it. It's a spin on Blue Eyes White Dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh bc my eyes are blue and my eyebrows are naturally white and it's a pretty big joke amongst my friends. I tint them on the reg so that's something you'll never see hahaha

Age: 28 (I swear, I don't even know when/how this happened. Its. Just. A. Number.)

Location: Toronto, ON

Degree: Early Childhood Studies (Ryerson U, Toronto ON, GO RAMS)

Occupation: Preschool teacher! I teach happiness and healthiness to 3 and 4 yr old monsters!

Aspirations: I just got into teacher's college.. goin way up... if Covid doesn't have anything to say!

Relationship status: I have a bf of 2 years named Bryan and he knows nothing about this, haha! Maybe some day xD

Hobbies: I was a competitive figure skater until I was 19, and feel so grateful to have it for life. I still feel something special when I step onto the ice. I also love hockey and baseball. Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays all day, fight me!

Passionate about: Sports & athletics, mental health, human rights (women's & children's rights), early childhood learning and development :)

Fave anime/manga: I've loved anime and manga since I was very young. It CAPTIVATED me and never let me go. My first ever was Gundam Wing, and then I loved Inuyasha and Gundam Seed. Naruto came after, but it's the winner for sure :) My fave manga of all time is a Yaoi called Yuuutsu na Asa. Check it out if you're into that!
