Why does FFN have to be such a dick about links?

Hey guys,

I decided that I would finally start posting again, so I've moved to Archive of Our Own instead of FFN. Alice Alive is the only fic I'm moving, and I'll continue to update it there. I know, I know, you're totes shocked. I haven't updated this fic since 2014, but I've never completely stopped working on it. Chapter 31 is up, and you'll finally get a glimpse into the KanameXAlice. Honestly, I'm a little sorry it took so long to update, but I kind of couldn't take the "oh, I wanted blah blah blah instead!" and the demands for updates - that was super annoying and it wore me down after awhile.

The fact is, fanfic writers do this for literally nothing, out of sheer love for the art. From writing my own fics over the years, I've learned that the best way to encourage a writer to update is to not pressure them. Legitimately tell them what you liked about the fic, but don't ride their asses. We do this for free, man.

Thanks for sticking around so long, and I'm sorry that everyone is going to have to reread everything because it's been FOUR YEARS OMGGG.
