I'm 50. Widowed, with two grown kids, and way too many ideas.

Most of my early stories are written while standing in line or sitting in the bathroom. Thank God for Handheld Computers.

Go Ahead, Flame Me. I could use the advice.

I once thought I'd write a story that I think is terrible, just to see if I get flamed!

I've been wanting to make S'Mores.

- Actually, I did write such a story. It did get flamed, more for the subject matter than my skills. (I take that as a good sign).

Kim Possible seems to have set my creativity aflame because Kim & Ron remind me of my marriage (or was that Drakken & Shego?). I guess it depended on the day :-)

The Bad News: I had a rough patch that stopped me writing.

The Good News: I have published more stories than I ever expected to, so enjoy my old stuff!

All will eventually be finished (with the notable exception of "Bittersweet"), I promise!

I've been getting some people prompting me to finish some stories. I do appreciate that anyone liked them enough to want more.

Real Life has been ..hectic.. for a while. Especially when 2016 took the wife.

As I say above, these WILL get finished. I just need time.

I've realized that the order of my stories is a bit jumbled.
(I have jumped around my timeline a bit).

Peeves

A few things that I see others do that I always find disruptive to a good story:

-Spelklng erroers
(I'm not the only one. Check the new story guidelines)

-Author's notes within the text of the chapter itself
(Put them at the end) -Better yet. Post a self-review. I'll do that from now on.

-Dialog without action or description of what happens during the conversation. (It works just fine for a two line joke, but a short story needs more)
