i have a long-running obsession with manga, music, movies and books. and weird drama serials and tv shows. maybe, a dash of reality show. as well as silly saturday morning cartoons. what? yin yang yo and powerpuff girls are cool.

takahashi hiroshi and oda probably ranks top. kubo tite has disappointed me. but recent times have returned my faith. and kishimoto? dayyyuuum. even tho there are occasions when he seems to suddenly pull stuff out of his ass, his wonderful-ness has been established and re-established over and over again. and yes, i did notice. three above are the Big Three - note the caps - in manga-dom. oh, and katekyo hitman reborn is loves too. maybe bakuman and fairy tail. fullmetal alchemist. ooh, samurai champloo and mononoke and jigoku shoujo too, though strictly speaking, they ain't manga.

and I love WORST. unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much of a fanbase for it in the english-speaking or chinese-speaking fandoms. chinese fandoms... most of them talk about crows zero. so, yeah. french? japanese? i have endeavoured to try my very best to understand wthell they were talking about in the forums, but -

my lack of french/japanese expertise cuts me out very effectively from the loop.

neil gaiman is a god. terry pratchett is a fellow god. tom holt ranks up there too. ( even tho his books are occasionally bloody confusing to read. paul carpenter is a wonderful dude tho. I, hate Sophie. she is an unmitigated bloody bitch. ) jim butcher. simon r. green. 阴阳师的作者。 魔法老师。kelley armstrong. tamora pierce. susanna gregory. garth nix. and any number of chicklit book authors. and, I really really need to catch up on my reading.
