Sci-fi fan, having started off with ST:Voyager. Then I watched the other Star Trek shows, Andromeda, Farscape, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers, Star Wars, Firefly, Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis.

I also like Pride and Prejudice, House MD, The West Wing, Touched By An Angel and various others.

20th Apr 2017 - I've now arranged to publish Awakened Hearts through Amazon - it will be available on 6th May 2017 for USD2.99. Therefore, per Kindle publishing requirements, I've removed the vast majority of the story from . I want to thank you for the support and I hope you enjoyed my story. Whether or not you choose to buy it from Amazon, I've enjoyed sharing my little fic with you. Of course, if you choose to buy my story, I can live with that! [Giggle].

5th Apr 2017 - I've been blown away by the support my little story has garnered, and have appreciated the constructive criticism, making some changes based thereon. You'll notice that I recently updated the epilogue - a kind reviewer pointed out a goof I'd made with regard to the entail on Longbourn and I agreed with that reviewer. The only change in chapter 1 is a reminder that this story is copyrighted.

Even before I started posting the story, I was debating whether or not to publish it through Kindle and I've now decided to give it a go. I've got a company working on formatting the Kindle version for me so I'm hoping to publish towards the end of April/beginning of May. I'll keep you posted and don't worry - I'm not going to charge a fortune for the thing; no more than AUD3. If you decide to buy my story, great - if not, I understand and am glad that you have had the chance to read it for free here.

I've started another P&P story but, based on what occurred with Awakened Hearts, it could be a long time before I'm ready to start posting - no longer will I start posting if I don't have a complete story.

29th Dec 2016 - after several months of careful editing/reviewing, I'm now ready to begin publishing my P&P story (over 100,000 words). I hope I've caught the worst of my errors (it's very hard to proof-read one's own work). If there is a term with which one of you is unfamiliar, please look it up. I'm not publishing a schoolroom type of novel with copious footnotes and explanations. Far worse for me; if you suspect you've caught an anachronism, which isn't outside the realm of possibility, although again I hope I've caught the worst, please PM me preferably with your source and I'll look at your source and find a separate one. If I agree with your findings, I will make the change.

15th Jun 2016 - I'm now working my way through chapter 27 of my Pride & Prejudice story. Getting there ... I've just realised that this story has now taken three years so far to write. And I'm not even finished yet! Eeeshk.

14th Oct 2014 - Have now finished 16 chapters and am struggling. I need to add a bit of drama, but I don't want to do anything histrionic. Thinking, thinking, thinking ... my brain hurts.

12th Jan 2014 - I noticed recently that Colonel Fitzwilliam is now included in the character filters within Pride & Prejudice. Hurray! I've just commenced the 14th chapter of my Pride & Prejudice story and have written myself into a corner. Therefore, I'll set it to one side for now and start typing up what I've got so far until I can find my way out.

28.7.13 - I've been lurking in various fandoms for nearly two years. About two months ago, I started writing a Pride & Prejudice story. I've loved the book since I read it in school (many, many moons ago) but it's taken me this long to work up the courage to actually put pen to paper in this particular fandom. I've written 11 chapters and am probably about a third of the way through so it will be a long time as inspiration comes and goes.
