A note about me:

I am a Sister of St. Joseph (yes, that is a Roman Catholic nun) in my early 50s.

In addition to writing Stargate fanfiction, I work full time as a mental health/chemical dependency therapist. Over the past two years, creative writing has become a great way to relax at the end of a day. Along with my life in community, Church activities, gardening, choral singing and holiday craft projects, writing has helped me maintain my own mental health.

What I enjoy about creative writing:

Writing allows me to explore and experience new aspects of my own personality and imagination and to share them with others. In the midst of telling a story, especially one with some length and subplots, it can be a challenge to bring all the threads together into a coherent whole. When it works, it's exciting!

Any and all feedback and constructive criticism is very much appreciated. I really depend on reviews to tell me if I'm taking things in the right direction and reassure me that people are actually reading. Feedback, whether positive or negative, is always energizing and pushes me to want to write more and/or better.

I hope you enjoy the stories as much as I enjoy writing them.
