I am Workparty. I am also sometimes called by "A. J."; if you have some need to refer to me, you may use one or the other. It is possible that you could even use some other name of your own creation for this purpose, although that may be inadvisable.

Many years ago when I was first learning English, I wrote quite a lot. I did not write so often as I grew older, even though I am now fluent. How amusing.

Regardless, I now desire to write more. Sometimes I write things on this website. You are reading one such thing now. Perhaps you will read some of the other things as well. Or, perhaps not.

I am almost always listening to music when I write. If not music, I will generally use a several-hour long audio of a crackling fire, sometimes with wind and rain or other sounds of nature. This may seem odd; I do prefer to write in completely silent rooms, although actual silence I find stifling. I beat it back at every opportunity. This is likely some form of petty narcissism.
