A series of interconnected drabbles that span the 10 or so years between the end of Prompto is what? to the beginning of the game. Prompts and requests are welcome!

Prompto turns eighteen this year, the minimum age requirement to join the Crownsguard to protect the future King. Unfortunately, his father doesn't take his decision lightly and does everything to keep him at home. It puts a great weight on his shoulders as King Regis had already appointed him as part of the Crownsguard... Ignis x Prompto. Trigger warning.

Gladio teaches Noct the hard way that kidnapping is always a potential threat when you're a public figure with royal blood. An uncomfortable thought for his three friends, an even more uncomfortable experience for Noct...Chapter 16!

Ardyn finds the foursome's strongest trait... and tears it apart, leaving them to figure out what is real and what is not. Will they learn to trust each other in time to take him down? No pairings, just lots of hurt and comfort.

Ignis shouts a warning, Magitek Troopers rain from the sky. It's the same metal men, over and over. Nothing's ever been unique about them, not one has ever stood out from the rest. Not until today . . . In which Insomia never fell and Prompto never escaped Niflheim: he's an MT. However, the urge to kill can't stop the blonde's desire for friendship. And, of course, Chocobos.

This will be a mini series of requests I get from people and each chapter will be a separate stories, and of course, feel free to request after you read what kind of stuff I write. An AU where Prompto does not come to Insomnia as an infant. Instead, he is raised in the military to become a Magitek soldier. Noctis sets off to marry Luna with just Ignis and Gladio and does not meet Prompto until a dropship has them come face to face. Begins after the fall of Insomnia. Ffn's format stripping drives me insane! This story is on AO3 with no formatting issues fyi.

Bullies really are the worst. Good thing Prompto has a best friend he can fall back on. Right?

Prompto is a trained assassin, his next target? Prince Noctis.

I loved the end of the game as much as I hated it. So I decided to write my own story, how FFXV could have went. Very Prompto-based. Ardyn tells Prompto something he isn't able to put aside that easy and which leads him to make a decision he first regrets, before realizing he is now able to change fate.

Prompto was once self conscious about his weight, he didn't really think about it any more. 'If you wish to put on weight, certainly.' It was a running joke, whenever he asked to hit up a diner, it never bothered him. That is not until Gladi pinched his side. It was a joke, he knew that, but then Iggy's food was delicious and maybe he had been eating a little more than he should.

All Prompto wants is to be like everyone else. His home life is troubled, his secrets could destroy him, but things are looking up. He's a close friend of a future king and the pen-pal of the Oracle. Just when it seems he's on the verge of something like normal, a violent encounter forces him down a different and darker path. (Canon divergent)

A continuation of the story left off in Spring Rains but still a self-contained (and more light-hearted) adventure. As the journey begins to wind down, Prompto tries to find "the perfect photo" to add to Noctis's scrapbook as a wedding gift. With some help from Coctura, Dino and Cindy he might pull it off, even if he winds up severely hurting himself. Mild Plot Spoilers .

Prompto couldn't speak to anyone and he is always getting hurt. The one thing he wanted to do most of all was bring a smile to that sad prince's face in his homeroom. What he didn't know was that Noctis wants to do the same thing for Prompto. A bond forged without interference and continues to grow into love. (HIATUS)

People asked him why he fit in so well with the Kings guard, he himself didn't really know the answer. But he didn't think his reason what this. Angst noncon (somewhat)

[Spoiler Chapter 11 gameplay] No matter how hard he tries Ardyn can't and won't break Prompto. He will endure whatever torture, punishment, and pain he can concoct but Prompto will survive, he has to. He needs to. Just to hear Noctis say "He is the real him"

The guys were going to have a bit of a more relaxed night for once, but of course, things never go according to plan. Tasked with picking up a few things for their night in, Prompto has a bit of a run in with a man lurking in the shadows.

It's been five years since Noctis has been absorbed into the Crystal, and now out there in the world alone, Prompto returns to an old habit to deal with the loss. Now, slipping back into that addiction, he thinks back to how it started. Other characters only appear in flashbacks.

Prompto just wants to learn how to fight. Gladiolus gives him more than he bargains for.

In the darkness of the night, there is nothing more unsettling than waking up to find yourself staring into the face of a nightmare.

What if Insomnia never fell and all went according to plan? Prompto makes it to Altissia but something hasn't felt right since day one, and what happens when the glitches are too hard to ignore?

Those who have passed have ways of clinging to the living, slowly tearing them apart from the inside; unaware of what's really going on, or where they are or what they are, they continue their desperate attempts to escape, unaware that they are no longer alive. In which Prompto has something a bit more difficult to handle hanging on to him.

Prompto's parents are not around much, and when his dad does comes home Prompto dreads it. Prompto tries to hide what's happening to him from Noctis, but when his Dad goes too far Prompto might have to break down and accept help from others, for his safety and theirs. Warning: There is implied parent abuse throughout this story.

Immediately following the sunrise, Ignis and Prompto try to sort through life and love.

A continuation of the story Winter Camp, while remaining a self-contained adventure thriller. Sania and Dave enlist the help of the bros to deal with a monster that is flooding the Vesperpool. However the group finds themselves in dire straits and has to survive in the drowned wilderness while fending off monsters and even other hunters.

Held captive in Zegnautus Keep, Prompto comes to terms with his own identity while wondering if his parents had known the truth all along.

Set along the same timeline as Snowed In (but can stand alone). Prompto is excited to finally get Noctis to himself away from the prying eyes of Insomnia. Unfortunately he wasn't counting on having three Glaives alone for the ride too. Prompto x Noctis. Rated M for later chapters.

Prompto was never taken out of Niflheim as a child. Instead he grew up first as his father's lab rat and favorite experiment, and then as soldier/living weapon in the Niflheim army. Until he decides to go for something different.

First, this is a sequel to Depths of Brotherhood, and I heavily suggest reading that one first. A familiar face shows back up and creates a whole new string of problems for our little sunshine. There are certainly better places than a -bridge- to encounter a Magitek Dropship. There's also certainly better weather to do so in than a storm. When what should have been an ordinary scuffle goes horrifically wrong and the Prince takes a tumble to the raging depths, Prompto rashly jumps in after him.

But there are coniditons though. 1st he must decide who's love it was that brought him back and be right about it. 2nd he must find a way to still defeat the immortal one and 3rd he is not allowed to tell a soul of whats happened

Prompto never wanted to embrace his cursed birthright, but when the opportunity comes to help his brothers by doing so, he has no choice but to submit to his pre-programmed instincts, and pray that his acting is good enough to fool even Ardyn Izunia. When news of people going missing starts to surface all over, the group decides it's none of their business. But they rethink that when two of their own get taken and are forced into underground slavery. Warning: There is implications of rape. It will not be written in detail, nor will there be any graphic depictions of it, but it will be implied.

Stress can do a lot of things to your body and your mind. Prompto hadn't had it easy the last days.

Prompto and Noctis never really got a chance to bond in high school due to how shy and insecure Prompto is; but when Prompto overhears a plot to kidnap the prince and gets caught up in it, Prompto must work with Prince Noctis in order to escape their captors.

The group of four are off on a mountain when some heated words are exchanged. In the moment, Prompto feels the need to go for a walk to think things over, but things take a turn for the worse.

When the boys get into the next town they find that a girl has ran away and are asked by Dave to help find her. The reason she left brings up some painful memories for Prompto and after a small argument, he decides to split from the group to look for her on his own. Weakened by the cold, Prompto struggles as Gladio worries and provides the only thing he can when they reunite. His w

Flat broke and out of potions and other curatives Noctis, Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto set out to find work. However after a morning of dead spots, luck shows up and the mission is simple: 'Take out some daemons that have been running amuck'. Easier said than done, especially when the mission takes a turn for the worse and one of the 'brothers' ends up in the hospital.

What starts off as seemingly nothing quickly takes a downward spiral into something much more dangerous. In which something is horribly wrong with Prompto, but it goes mostly unnoticed until it begins to get drastically worse.

Noctis, Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto find themselves on the wrong side of a winter storm. Trapped in the wilderness, with a broken down Regalia, they are forced to survive the harsh climate until the storm passes. [No FFXV Plot Spoilers]
